Tomorrow is Gumboot Friday! Gumboot Friday is an initiative founded by I AM HOPE to provide free counselling to children in a timely manner.

We at Te Aroha vets want to support this great cause! We will have a bbq running this friday (Friday 1st November) 11.30 till 1.00pm outside the clinic. Please come on down and chat to us, make a donation and have a sausage for lunch.
All donations go to I AM HOPE.

Swim Zone Morrinsville Closing + Dogs in Togs 🎉🐶

It's been another great season for our Swim Zone Morrinsville team, as always it's hard to say goodbye and our last swim for the season will be on Wednesday 20 March. 🏊‍♀️

🥳 To end this season on a high note - we're excited to bring back Dogs in Togs on Thursday 21 March. We invite dogs of all shapes and sizes to enjoy this pooch pool party!

10am - 11am: Small medium dogs (under 20kgs)
11am - 12pm: Large dogs (20kgs +)

Swim Zone Te Aroha and Swim Zone Matamata will remain open throughout the year.

🩸 🐕 blood donors wanted 🐩 🩸

We are looking to update our 2024 list of available dog blood donors.

For your dog to be a blood donor, they must meet certain criteria. Your dog’s welfare is always our priority and so for them to become a lifesaver, they must be:

*Fit and healthy
*Between one and eight years old
*Weigh more than 25kg
*Have a good temperament
*Have never travelled outside of NZ
*Vaccinated
*Not on any medication

They would be contacted at the time the blood is needed and if not available the next dog owner on the list would be called.

Blood donations are used only in life threatening emergencies, we would only collect from your dog once per year if required at all.
