Great catch up at the International Symposium of Stallion Reproduction, Cordoba Spain 2025
Wherever Zirocco Blue competes all eyes are upon him with his scope, jumping style and efficiency. Under Jur Vrieling he has achieved several very impressive international results. They won the Team Gold Medal at the European Championship and individually were 5th. In the Las Vegas World Cup final, they finished 10th. The World Cup of Oslo, the Grand Prixโs of Kopenhagen, Melsomvik (2x) and Geesteren, the Masters in Mechelen - all saw Zirocco wearing the winnerโs sash. As a member of the Dutch team they won the Nations Cup of Rotterdam, Kopenhagen and Gijon. In the Dutch Jumping Championship he was 2nd.

Comthago himself seems to combine all the assets from his pedigree: he has the appearance, the gallop, and looseness of a modern jumping horse. He jumps with scope, take off, a good bascule, and he is careful. Convincingly, Comthago finished as the reserve champion of the stallion approvals in Mecklenburg.
As a 5 year old he made his first international starts and he impressed, for example, with his round in the stallion competition in Zuidbroek.ย Comthago produces large and long lined foals. They have wide movements, including a good canter.ย The oldest offspring by Comthago make good jumps with a lot of take-off and scope. His daughter Next Day VDL scored 90 points for freejumping. His oldest offspring appear in various young horse classes like GMB-competition and BLOM-cup and impress with their take-off, scope and rideability.

Carrera is a striking and interestingly bred horse from a combination of two Olympic stallions.ย Carrera shone under Jur Vrieling with whom he was successful at the highest level. Carrera started strong with the winning of the Grand Prix Vestfold. Before he won the Grand Prix of Wolden,ย a 1.50m class in Bonheiden and in Oldenburg. With the Dutch team Carrera won the Nations Cup in Drammen. Carrera unfortunately had to end his career prematurely due to an injury.ย Along with his outstanding pedigree, Carrera passes his great jumping qualities on to his offspring. They stand out for the way that they jump โ they perform and they are wanted.ย

Bred by the VDL Stud, Landino made an excellent impression at both the KWPN and NRPS Stallion Show jumping with a lot of ease, light-footedness and athletic ability.
Invited to for the KWPN performance test, Landino earned his breeding license at the NRPS. Like most Stakkato Gold offspring, Landino is a modern showjumper with the reflexes to be competitive and the ability to succeed at the highest level.Landino's offspring all show charisma, blood and are athletic modern sport types. Three sons out of his first crop were selected for the 2nd round of the KWPN stallion approvals.

Dallas is a modern stallion with good gaits, jumps with very good take off, much scope and is very careful. Dallas underwent his stallion test in Adelheidsdorf, Germany, to pass the 70 days test. He received good marks for his jumping - averaging 8.53, to place 2nd in the Jumper Stallions ranking. His free jump score was a 9, jumping under saddle an 8.5 and for potential as a jumping horse a 9.08, giving him the highest score of the group for this section
The oldest offspring of Dallas look good. They have beautiful models and jump with quick reflexes, a lot of print and power.

Harleyโs pedigree is among the best for sport and breeding. His sire line contains three international jumping stallions in a row: Heartbreaker, Carthago and Caletto I.
Harley VDL has been highly successful at international level with Jessica Kรผrten. In the Grand Prix of Sainte Cecile he finished 2nd, then took 3rd in the Grand Prix of Neurenberg. He also won international classes in La Coruรฑa, Aalst and Outdoor Gelderland. In Den Bosch, Harley was victorious in the prestigious VHO Trophy. Ridden by Venezuelaโs Emanuel Andrade, Hardrock Z participated at the World Equestrian Games in Caen in 2014 and at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. He also participated in the Pan American Games in Toronto in 2015, where he finished 6th individually after taking the lead in the first qualifier.
Hardrock jumped successfully in numerous Grand Prix-competitions at top level, such as in Wellington, Tryon, Calgary, Miami, et cetera. In addition, Hardrock Z has fantastic reflexes, an excellent attitude, and an outstanding rideability.
With his excellent pedigree, performances at the highest level and his appealing, strong conformation, Hardrock Z can be a great asset for breeding. His foals are in demand at European foal auctions, several foals were sold for top prices.

At 3, Arezzo was Champion of the KWPN Spring Stallion Test receiving a 9 for his reflexes, scope, and talent as a jumper. As a young horse, Arezzo became reserve Champion of the stallion competitions in the classes 1.10m and 1.20m and at the National Championship of the 5-year-olds, he won the final and ended 5th overall. At the World Championship in Lanaken, he placed 4th in the final of the 7-year old jumpers
The 2020 KWPN Stallion Show was a highlight with Arezzo being awarded the predicate โPreferentโ for his excellence as a breeding sire.
Several of his oldest offspring are already jumping at the highest Grand Prix level.

At the age of 3, Liamant W was already making a name for himself on the international stage. At the KWPN Stallion Show in s'Hertogenbosch, he was one of the most remarkable show-jumping stallions, and he was honoured as 3rd in the champions ring.
Liamant W is an example of a modern show jumper : blood, lightfooted, good reflexes and athletic ability. Both at the KWPN Stallion Show and at Zangersheide, he convinced with his consistent and well-balanced way of jumping, always jumping up with the withers and expressing an excellent jumping technique.
