I competed Ulti last season for his owners. Definitely one of my favourites. Has a heap of talent and a heap of character. Will be a competitive asset to any team.

We have drawn the FUNDRAISER RAFFLE today at the Kapiti Police Station. Congratulations to lucky number 13 Sue Stone. A big thank you again to all those who brought a ticket. Mackenzie is very grateful and excited for her trip.

Saw this horse in the flesh today at Dragon Park and was seriously impressed. He has a real give it a go, can do attitude (and a super cute jump). It definitely wouldn’t take long to get this one up and going, ready to win ribbons.

And just like that…. In just over 24hrs 50 tickets have been sold. We will wait until all $ has been paid then look at drawing it early.

***FUNDRAISER***

My talented niece Mackenzie Hazelton is traveling to Australia on Monday 17th February 2025 to compete at the

SYDNEY VAULTING GROUP COMPETITION

She is travelling with the Kapiti Equestrian & Vaulting Centre as apart of the Kiwi Team.

She will compete as an individual on a horse then in a double and team routine on the Barrel.

This opportunity doesn’t come around very often and the girls are excited to travel and compete internationally.

To help fund her trip I’m running a raffle.

Up for grabs is 2 week slot
at Hillside Equestrian valued at $620

Here’s a brief rundown of what I can can offer here at Hillside Equestrian Services

SCHOOLERS - Horses come to me for between 2-6weeks and receive a variety of work depending on owners requests. This can include general exercise (hills, beach, road rides), arena work and jumping.

SALE ON BEHALF - Take the hassle of out selling and let me do it for you. This includes keeping horse in work, photographs, videos, advertising, viewings etc

JUMP SCHOOLING - Wether your horse is just learning, getting back into it or you just want to see what their like over something bigger I’m happy to help. I can even sort the venue.

FLAT SCHOOLING - Happy to school your horse on the flat, happy to help achieve the basics.

X-COUNTRY SCHOOLING - We are lucky to have a couple amazing places locally with amazing x-country fences.

GENERAL EXERCISE- Running short on time, no worries, I can travel to yours and exercise your horse for you from just once or up to 3 times a week.

Pickle, who I had for some life experience last year is officially on the market. She is a lovely natured fun little horse that would make a great project for an experienced teen or small adult. She has super breeding, lovely conformation and a great Janet Tolottitude.

Super excited about with guy…. Charismatic aka Ted is an easy one to like and it was a no brainer when the opportunity arose to make him a permanent fixer on the team.

He got thrown in the deep end at both Dannevirke and Levin, having never completed nor jumped a full round he proved very workmanlike and up for the challenge.

Exciting times ahead.

Two shows into 2025 and Sprite is killing it. Couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime. His love for jumping is contagious and although he keeps me on my toes I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Recently added this guy to the team. Ted arrive late last year and took no time at all to settle in. His cruisey can do attitude along with a heap of natural talent makes him very easy to like. Looking forward to producing him further, I feel like sky is the limit with this one.

Thought it about time this guy had his own album. Feeling very privileged to have him on my team this season thanks to Sonya Mason. We are having so much fun together, he keeps me on my toes and I keep the treats rolling. Looking forward to 2025.

Mouse is one of my own, who I purchased on a whim some time ago. I potter round in the background with her, making small gains when time allows. I’ve really enjoyed producing such a lovely kind mare but it may be time for her to find her next home were she can be front and centre stage where she belongs.
