All prospective buyers are welcome to attend to inspect yearlings ahead of Karaka 2025, while enjoying New Zealand's finest equine properties and hospitality. 🌞

NZB and NZ-based agents are also available to inspect on your behalf should you require a head start on inspections and evaluations. 🔍

Very promising 3 year old gelding Dealt With was most impressive winning first up today at Te Aroha over 1200m 🤩
He didn’t get all favours either after drawing awkwardly which saw him having to use up a little gas early!
We bred and raised him here and was purchased by Roger James and Robert Wellwood out of our Karaka 2023 Book 2 draft for $90,000
The son of Ace High is hopefully destined for bigger things 🙌🏻

Great to see King of Cordoba win at his second start yesterday at Warrnambool for 👏🏼
We presented the up and coming 3 year old for Vicki and Wayne Pike and friends at Karaka Book 1 in 2023 where he sold to Grand Syndicates for $120,000

SHOWING - Tokomairiro A&P Society: Sarah Ruddenklau’s 16.1hh thoroughbred Lochslea Pride & Joy backed up from their 2023 success at Milton by once again winning the Supreme Champion Horse and Champion Paced & Mannered Horse on the weekend. Lochslea Pride & Joy came forward as the Champion Show Hack on Saturday.

Sarah won two lovely trophies at the show; The Tokomairiro A&P Society Milton Len Vial Memorial Cup was for Champion Hack which was first presented 1969 and the George Robinson Memorial Trophy.

Lochslea Pride & Joy known at home as Scotty is a true gentleman. He is well known down south at the shows and it is only a matter of time before he finds a new home and rider now that he is on the market. Sarah and her partner have 4 children and are on a farm in Dunback located in the Otago region.

RACING CAREER: Lochslea Pride & Joy started his life in racing under the name The Miner’s Son.

The Miner’s Son was bred by Hallmark Stud and foaled in 2008. He is by Gold Mine (USA) out of Enchantez (NZ).

Trained by David Goldsbury, The Miner’s Son won two races from 19 starts. Both wins saw jockey Rory Hutchings in the saddle.

He was born and raised here, we bred him in partnership with Leonie and Robert Stewart. His dam Sarsarun is currently in foal to the exciting young prospect Sword of State

We were stoked on the farm here today off the back of 2 year old Hello Romeo’s win at Bendigo! Congrats to everyone involved!
We prepped and sold him at this years Karaka Book 1 for Jomara Bloodstock. He was purchased by for $150k who have done a superb job to provide exciting first season sire Hello Youmzain with his first southern hemisphere winner.
We will be offering a full brother to Hello Romeo at Januarys Karaka yearling sale 🏇

Hello Romeo is Cambridge Stud shuttling sire Hello Youmzains' first southern-hemisphere winner! We picked up this gorgeous c**t at the 2024 Karaka Yearling Sale in January from Hallmark Stud. We can't wait to get back to NZ in just a few months to see the incredible yearlings on offer at New Zealand Bloodstock in 2025.

Originally purchased off us by Chad and Aleisha Ormsby for $125,000 out of Book 1 at Karaka 23 where we prepped and presented the daughter of Almanzor for her breeders Vicki and Wayne Pike. Looks like there is more wins in store for this smart up and coming filly 👏🏼

Born and raised here on the farm for Sandy Moore the evergreen Bonny Lass saw off a star studded field first up for the season yesterday in the G2 time honoured Foxbridge Plate 💛
Superbly prepared by Graham Richardson and Rogan Norvall and given a peach of a ride by Craig Grylls, she becomes the second mare in recent times along side the great Melody Belle to win at Group level at 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6!
Bonny is pictured in the second photo as a foal with mum Posh Bec who Sandy Moore raced and the third photo spelling on the farm in May this year with Zipporah Meaden
Congrats to Social Racing who lease her from Sandy, Bonny has taken them on a great ride 🙌🏻

Huge congrats to Sandy Moore when picking up Bonny Lass’ G1 Breeders trophy last night in Cambridge at the annual Breeders awards night 🏆
We are all very proud of Bonny’s achievements, who was foaled and raised here for Sandy, she is now a Group winner at 2, 3, 4 and 5 years of age. She hit her peak this season taking out the G1 BCD Sprint plus a further two G1 placings at the elite level. She is back in full training now with Graham Richardson, so hopefully there is more to come!

Great to see the progressive Amberite win again at Rosehill yesterday for Michael Bayley and new trainer Matt Laurie. We presented the son of Proisir at the 2021 Book 1 sale at Karaka for Vicki and Wayne Pike, Amberite is proving a lovely buy on the $120k that Michael Bayley and the late great Michael Stedman paid for him. Congratulations to all involved 🏆

Big congratulations to long term loyal client Duane Eagle, whose Niagara Sky won his first start with ease at Counties today. The Ralph Manning trained horse was born and raised on the farm so it was very appropriate that we sponsored the race!
