The 2024 New Zealand National Cavy Show judged by Patrick Staniec & Daniel Dawid Banasiak was a fantastic weekend with great people; although I didn't exhibit this year, I loved seeing Cavies I bred doing well with their new owners! 🤩

A huge congrats to the following for doing so well with Claremont bred Cavies: 👏

🖤 Kerryanne Miller, with Claremont Black Thorn who got: ROB Self Black and also with Claremont Little Red Soldier who got: ROB Red Dutch
🖤 Griffin Hopkin, with Claremont Cleopatra who got: 3rd of group ticked & ROB Silver Agouti
🖤 Tania White, with Claremont Roan Ranger Junior who got: BOB P/E Gold Roan
🖤 Wendy Miller with Claremont White Miracle who got: BOB P/E Self White
🖤 Michael Moore, with Claremont Mr Red Man who got: BOB Red Dutch
🖤 Jack Jay, with Claremont Tim from Timaru who got Best Self Black Boar, Jack also exhibited in the Novice and Junior Exhibitor show, showing Tim from Timaru Jack won Best Novice Exhibitor in show and Best Junior Exhibitor in show!

They were all very well prepared and looked after, it was so great to see. 😊

I'm looking forward to next year's National; hopefully, I'll be back showing! 😜

Finally had litter of Red Dutch born after they have been slow in breeding pen, pretty happy with all 3 although they all have their faults, so they will never see the show table! 😅

RIP my Queen!! 💔

Claremont Black Lives Matter was my first ever self black born, although she was never a show girl she did me extremely proud in the breeding pen - She was the dam of many of my successful self blacks including 2022 NZ National Winner Claremont Apollo & my first ever home bred Supreme Grand Champion, Claremont Black Berry! 🖤

Here at Claremont Cavies we received some exciting news over the weekend! 🎉

Tania White exhibited Claremont Black Current (Adult, Self Black boar) at GCCC show on Saturday judged by Andy Lawrie, won Reserve Best In Show!

Big Congrats Tania! 🥳👏

You should be very proud of this amazing result on Saturday after not even Showing Purebred Cavies for a year - Your enthusiasm & hard works in the NZ Cavy Fancy (New Zealand Cavy Council) certainly shows in your pet & purebred show results!

Tania also won Bog marked with Claremont Roan Ranger Junior (P/E Gold Roan Adult Boar)

Very proud breeder moment! 😊
