Maximise your herds reproductive potential with Hiprabovis-3 the ‘Gold standard’ in vaccinations. Providing cover for BVD, IBR and PI-3 Hiprabovis-3 is a must for your animals.

IBR is a herpes virus which once infected can flare up at any time, but mostly associated with those times of stress. Normally expressed as a respiratory type illness which can lead to reduced milk production and ‘cold’ like symptoms it can also be displayed as Infectious Pustular Vulvovaginitis (IPV). IPV directly impacts the reproductive organs making it unpleasant for breeding to occur, potentially delaying conception.

BVD when actively present in a herd can cost $180/cow resulting from reduced milk production, later conception and higher abortion rates.

A reminder for Bulls to achieve their full potential, they need to achieve high conception rates during the mating period. Any disease that cause fever in a bull may make him temporarily infertile, which may result in lower than acceptable conception rates or an increase in 'late' cows.

IBR (Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis) is widespread in NZ dairy herds, so the chance of bulls coming in contact with the disease while out with the cows is high.
