BREAKAWAY ROPING CLINIC 🤠

Super excited to announce NZRCA Rookie Breakaway Roping Champion Liz Hampton to be teaming up with myself at CFE to hold a clinic for new ropers to come and learn how to breakaway rope! Liz is also runner up NZRCA Open Breakaway Champion! As well as having plenty of experience team roping we are so lucky she is joining us!

Bring your own horse or hire one of our roping horses!

-Please note your horse doesn’t have to have had any roping experience to come!

⏰ 9am-12pm this Saturday (16th November) postponement date if weather was to fail would be (17th November)

📍Claremont Fields Equestrian Timaru

- This clinic is for complete beginners of all ages or maybe even ropers that know how to rope but want to improve their skills!

Last day of camps we were lucky the wind held off for us most of the day! 🤣💨

Fun filled day learning about horse nutriton & how to weigh & work out how much to feed our ponies and plenlty of goals and new achievements ticked off by all of the riders well done 🐴❤️

We had a visit from Glenn at Mountainview Equine to teach our riders about horse health and general nutriton as well as dental. One of the school ponies got his teeth done.🦷Thanks so much Glenn the kids loved there time with you!

It’s been a busy few weeks here! We had Louie here for a couple of weeks schooling learning some western & jumping training. We are now getting ready to start kicking into our rodeo season coming up! With 7 of my own horses currently in training plus all of the riding school horses we are really looking forward to longer days and some more sunshine!☀️

Have throughly enjoyed having this mare here over the past month or so! It has been such a rewarding process to teach her about the barrel pattern and bring her back into work. We went to our first jackpot to go put it all together and do a nice tidy run! Will be sad to see her go but look forward to keeping in touch with her owners on her future. I am so lucky to get the opportunity to ride these beautiful horses.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Canterbury Barrel Racing jackpots was another fun day out! Such a well run day with an awesome committee and fantastic grounds to run at! Team CFE golden girls did me proud 🥹 Denver 🥇 in 1D Barrels Sue 🥈in 2D Barrels Sue 5th in 1D Poles and it was only our first time giving it a crack! Also was very awesome to see how well my student Karla and Oak did doing some very tidy runs! I was so proud of of this team considering this was only their 2nd ever jackpot! @karladebeer139 The Calender is looking rather full every weekend with some exciting events coming up! The countdown is on till labour weekend Rodeos🤩
