Ashburton Races yesterday and I have to say the hospitality received from them was second to none!

Len was invited upstairs for a complimentary drink and whitebait fritter and was thanked for always supporting the club with the amount of horses taken to the meeting held by the club. The president made sure Len was able to make it up the stairs with no trouble but they just took the lift up instead.

Len would like to personally thank everybody from the Ashburton racing club for the meeting yesterday.

Zadane saying no thank you to some chocolate this evening ahead of his race tomorrow at Riccarton at the Banks Peninsula meeting.

District Nine in race 5 will be ridden by Kate Hercock, it will be her first time at the Riccarton track and will be interesting to see how she likes it in the big smoke!

Zadane in race 9 in the ODT Southern Mile qualifier who will be ridden by Gosen Jogoo who likes Riccarton on a good day!

Good luck to all the connections and jockeys tomorrow! Fingers crossed for some good results.

Beautiful weather in Gore yesterday for the Gore guineas day.

Pop pop letting Lise Paree know how awesome she ran after an awesome Ride by Gosen Jogoo for Second place!

Miss Miranda had a gutsy run and got Second place for Samantha Wynne on board!

And the best baby whisperer Samantha Wynne who needed some down time after her fabulous day yesterday. Even if the baby did vomit all over her!

The dry trackers loved it.... the wet trackers not so much. But that's racing for you!

Welcome to L Stewart Racing!

We have been extremely quiet on here the past year but that's all about to change.

Some exciting things happening this year, including having shares available in a couple of young up and coming horses.

We also have spaces available if you are wanting to send your horse to a smaller trainer with affordable training fees. Even if you spy a horse you like the look of on Gavelhouse and aren't sure of where to send it to be trained feel free to flick us a message and we are more then happy to help out.

Gore races this weekend where we will have a few runners being nominated!

Kumara gold nuggets here we come!

Race 7 we have Vague on the heavy today at kumara.

Here she is walking home from the track a few weeks ago with her stable mates. She handled the trip over yesterday and is looking great!

Some more awesome results from our trip to Riverton a few days ago.

🦄Miss Harley Quinn come in a close Second after her win at Timaru for a brilliant back up for Danika Wilson, Danika also rode Zadane for a Fourth and Just a Brown Horse for a Fifth place.

🐴Take the Deel had a good run after backing up from Timaru for a Seventh.

🐎Sympathique backed up as well and ran on for Fifth place for Gosen Jogoo.

Thanks to the riders, support crew, drivers and staff couldn't make these trips away without you! Even bigger thanks to our owners of the horses. 🙌

🏇🏇Shares will be available in the near future with some very classy horses awaiting owners to come along and snap them up! Details will be up in the next few weeks so keep an eye out! 🏇🏇

Miss Harley Quinn showing what she is capable of today at the Timaru races in the 65 1200!
Big thanks to Gosen Jogoo for fighting out right to the finish line with the stable favorite. Well done to all connections.

Last week we had a good Win at Ascot Park with Miss Miranda and Sam Wynne on board. Congratulations to all connections also!

Some of the team is off to Riverton to see out 2023 and welcome 2024 with a day of racing down there on the 1st of January.

Very good weekend at Cromwell for a few of our team!

Sympathique winning her 7th race with Gosen Jagoo on board and she was very well ridden!! Thanks again Gos!

Vague come home for a close 2nd in her race on Friday in the open 2030 and Ran a brilliant 3rd in the cup on Sunday! Fabulous riding from Tina Comignaghi on both days!

Both mares are super tough!

The rest of the team went well and all pulled up great and now having a well deserved few days rest!

Thanks to all the crew, jockeys and owners. Another brilliant Cromwell race meeting done for another year!
