Congratulations to the Waddell Family with Uptown Charlie Brown overall winner of the NZRP Performance Comp 2017/18. This pony has been a consistent winner and performer since he entered the show ring.
Charlie Brown is by our late stallion Maxwellton Woody Woodpecker who in his short life won many NZ titles and has left many NZ title holders, major competition winners, genuine children’s ponies and small hacks.
Woodys full brother Maxwellton Atom Ant is standing at Maxwellton this season in his 2nd year as a stallion. His first crop are due on the ground this summer. We are very excited to see these and watch a new generation of ponies in the competition arena

Maxwellton Monday Magic aka Toby (Maxwellton Miss Muffet x Drumnacott Rifleman) pictured here in the 2017/2018 season as a 3yr old Gelding. Toby is now with Grace Williamson and going wonderfully under saddle for another successful weekend at dressage scoring over 70% in their 2 tests. Toby and Grace were also collecting wide ribbons in the show ring this weekend. Photos of Grace and Toby to come. This gentle soul of a pony is sadly missed around the stud but we are so happy to see him with a great family 🙏🏼❤️🦄

Maxwellton Wednesday Wonder aka Gingernuts 🥜🧡 our 2yr old C**t had his first ever outing. Thanks to Doug Hough for doing a great job in the ring with him. He was an absolute gem and clearly loved being a show pony. Gingernuts was Reserve to stable mate Secret Squirrel. He is out of Maxwellton Miss Muffet (who is out of Maxwellton Give Us Your Thoughts) x Drumnacott Rifleman.
He will stand as a stallion next year as a 3yr old.

2018/19 season started with 2 C**ts for the Team Maxwellton!
Pictured here is Maxwellton Secret Squirrel who is a 3yr old C**t. Maxwellton Give Us Your Thoughts x Drumnacott Rifleman. Squirrel finished Champion Led Pony then went onto Supreme Led against some very strong competition.
This little man hasn’t been out since he was a yearling. He’s been at home chilling out and growing up. He popped his best feet forward on Saturday and preformed very well. He has mares booked for this season and will stand at stud over summer.
He currently stands at 134cm.
