Gore gymkhana first event very well behaved. Enjoyed games at his pace. SJ amazing. He also has extensive hacking experience over farmland and at the beach. Apache has trekked majority of his life but has spent the last 2 years looking after a new rider who has moved onto hacks, he is ready to take a new rider on adventures. He does need more schooling on the flat and over fences but shows promise.

Although he is a safe and reliable chap he would be best suited to someone intermediate and above that wants to dabble in a bit of everything.

Hey Southlanders,

Now that I’ve settled down here in Wyndham and we are about to welcome daylight savings back I thought I’d introduce myself for those who don’t know.

My name is Rayanna Jackson and I run this page and co own Twin Blues Stud with my mother. I work fulltime on a sheep and beef farm and do this when I’m available. I currently have 2 young horses with me, both aspiring event horses and they will be aiming for the Young Event Horse in April at NEC in Canterbury. We currently stand 2 stallions at stud and a 3rd being added in the next couple of years.

I offer plaiting, turnout, pull manes, clip tails/feathers pretty much everything you can think of. If you have a request don’t be afraid to get in touch.

Hey guys,

A lot of changes have been happening here, due to a change in circumstances I am based down in Wyndham. In the Spring we will be standing 2 stallions for the season at this stage. Twin Blues Golden Legacy and Twin Blues Kings Saviour, they will be standing at our stud in Greta Valley.

With an exciting young team of horses due to make an appearance in the spring I’m going to open the doors for one schooler. I will be offering flat schooling at this stage, breaking or life experience. With hundreds of acres of farmland to ride over anyone wanting to send their horse for fitness or abit of life experience feel free to flick me a message.

Blake needs to find his new person. He will be making his way back to CHCH tomorrow and will not be available for the same price.

Last night he played baby sitter and took a complete beginner put on a hack to the beach and was a superstar, bush bashing and didn’t put a foot wrong. Would make a good trekking horse.

Wowee can Jiggy jump. This is his 2nd proper jumping practice and his first time seeing XC jumps that aren’t just logs and he didn’t disappoint. Not the easiest ride as he’s still green but he has so much untapped potential for a confident young rider. Will make a great XC horse with some more miles under his belt.

What more do people want for the price 🤷🏼‍♀️

Blake was a star today out XC schooling. This was his first time jumoing with us and seeing XC fences and he took it like a champ, there is obviously some prior training in this area and I think he would be a really fun wee jumper with some more schooling.

His rider today lacks abit of experience and isn’t the most confident but he shows that he continues to look after his rider no matter what.

Danny is a big unit and will only available to a suitable experienced home. He is upto date with the farrier, dentist and chiropractor. He is available out of work but the video attached was taken yesterday (29/3) and he had his first ride in years then too. Great project for someone with experience. Wicked walk on him.

Thea is a 8yr old TB about 16hh didn't make a racehorse as her wind wasn't flash but had no problems since retired. By Rios out of a Danehill mare. Trainer said no reason she couldn't ne a hack we've just never bothered. Pic eating was taken in February. Horses like Molly don’t come on the market often. I wouldn’t even know where to start with describing this horse, she is the ultimate first hack/best friend/horse of a lifetime. You can put anyone on her and know that she will look after them with everything she has.

Molly is one of the most consistent horses around and will always endeavour to try her hardest with whatever you ask her. She is able to be pulled out of the paddock after months off no hassle but doesn’t mind being ridden 6 days a week either. She has competed at numerous A&Ps in the Saddle Hunter, Working Hunter and RTR with wins and placings in every section. She has done straight SJ, would be a wicked Show Hunter mount, evented to 95cm and doesn’t come home without a ribbon often. She’s won best mare and most points Eventing in the Irish High Points competition too.

Great to float, angle load and straight load. Good to catch, worm, clip, stands to have her mane pulled, just tie her up and give her a hay bag to plait her, great to wash. Tie up and leave her bed for the farrier. She is as low maintenance as they come, fat off the smell of an oily rag. She’s good to be paddocked alone and in company, go out alone or in company, can pony horses off her easy as. Been to the forest, beach, road rides, down to the local stores. She has done equitation and smashed it, Molly has spent the last few years out on lease, helping riders gain confidence or filling a gap in someone’s life at the time. She is not a 1.30m SJer or 3* Eventer but she will always put a smile on your face and give you her whole heart and you’ll have the best time with her as the ultimate allrounder.

There is way to many things to list about how great this horse is and I could go on forever but serious buyers would have to get in touch ASAP as she will not be available long.

Jigsaw aka Jiggy

10yr old bay pinto crossbred gelding

Jiggy has been with his current owner since he was a baby and he will be sorely missed but they would like to move him on to an experienced home that he gets to have fun with.

He has been extensively hacked out in the past and more recently been in full work with me and has since been out to the local arena and an inhand and ridden show. Jiggy is still establishing himself on the flat but showing promise and starting to establish leg yields, he has been over small jumps and fill doesn’t seem to phase him.

Jiggy is good with traffic and trains being paddocked inbetween SH1 and a railway line and is happy to continue on being ridden even when trains are going past. He does need an experienced rider to continue his education and would be better suited as a 2nd or 3rd pony for a confident rider.

He is good to catch, shoe, tie and float etc and can be paddocked alone or in company. He would make a great wee allrounder for someone that wants to try their hand at anything.
