We are in need of fosters at Auckland Puppy Rescue. Our aim is to help as many pups as possible but we are finding it difficult to do so without more support. Our rescue for 11th Decemeber is Auckland Puppy Rescue
About APR:
Auckland Puppy Rescue was founded in early 2014 and became a registered NZ charitable trust shortly after. While there are many dog rescue groups in New Zealand, they identified a need for an organization dedicated to puppies from newborn to 12 months of age. They are also passionate about desexing dogs to reduce the number of unwanted puppies born. Their team consists of a small group of volunteers who balance saving puppies with full-time jobs and studies. They have a network of fosterers and supporters who assist with hands-on tasks and collaborate with other rescue organizations across New Zealand. Once a puppy is taken in, they are fostered with families who receive all the necessary supplies and support to ensure the puppy is happy and healthy before being rehomed to carefully screened adopters. All puppies receive vet checks, full vaccinations, worm and flea treatment, and are desexed, microchipped, and registered before adoption.

Well, we are over the moon with adoptions this month and last! These wee sausages are heading to forever homes for Christmas and we couldn’t be happier. ✨❤️🌲 We thank our wonderful adopters for seeing how amazing and deserving these pups are. Big shout out to some of our awe-inspiring foster families also. One special family took on four pups from one litter - Edith, Vector, Gru and Margo. Absolutely outstanding and generous. We are so thankful to them and others that give so much!! 👏🐶
