Another new winner for today as the Shaun Fannin and Hazel Schofer trained broke her maiden at start number two when winning the last at Hawera over 1600m.

Despite being tardy away from the gates, the daughter of and gathered momentum quickly, taking the lead at the turn and although racing a little greenly scored a comfortable win over her rivals.

Bred by W R Berry & D B Hollinshead, is raced by Mrs L A & W R Berry and looks a promising stayer in the making.

Milking 5000 jerseys, rearing all their calves, calving every day of the year.
A huge operation & glad that Tim had the time to show us around.

Seems to be tick season at the moment, over 100 found on the cows in the last week or so, unfortunately that coincides with a few more cases of thirelia, just when we thought that the cows immunity should cover them.

Young calves first day on chicory, with a possible dry summer on the way, it will be a great source of protein.

Busy day at Te Awamutu trials today, first outing for our new colours with 2 sisters trialling, Passenger & Lust for Life, no winners but tracking nicely & off to the races in a fortnight, timing perfect for the busy summer racing calendar.
Well ridden by Bailey Rogerson & prepared by Richard@Gosfordpark.
