Happy 4th Birthday Amelia! She had a great time on the walks today with her friends and found two balls, then had a steak for dinner and I made her a banana cake with Scoop Dog eggnog and mashed potatoe icing topped with beef lung, beef liver, freeze fried salmon and puppy chocolate drops and an extra sprinkle of eggnog powder on top! 🎁🎂🎉

Hey everyone happy new year 2022 is going to be a great one 🤞 hope everyone has had a great break. Amelia has been loving going to the beach almost everyday!
Dog walks are starting back up this week both Amelia and I are excited to see everyones happy faces and waggy tails 😊 🐾 🐕

Amelia update 🐾🐾
We got the results back from the lump Amelia had removed last week. Unfortunately it was a mast cell tumour. She has a good prognosis because it was under her skin and we caught it and got it removed so quick. They got pretty good margins but didn't know what it was when they took it out so not 100% margins. So we need to keep an eye on her going forward. It is rare in such a young dog but it was dumb luck in Amelia's case and they don't know what the cause is. Amelia has recovered well she is very excited to see her friends and didn't even need a cone.
This is even more important to keep checking you pups regularly feel them all over so you know when something doesn't feel right and if you are unsure get it checked by the vet. Better to be safe than sorry!

Hi everyone I haven't posted on here for a while, but today I have an important message I want to share. A couple of weeks ago we found a lump on Amelia's belly and took her to the vet to get it checked out and biopsied. Results came back mixed it isn't cancer or anything severe but that doesn't mean it couldn't turn into something worse later on. So this Wednesday she is going to have surgery to have the lump removed and get it analysed to get more insight. This has been an extremely stressful time from when we found it to getting it checked, receiving the results and booking her in. So my message to all you pup parents out there please please please check your dogs regularly weekly or even daily so that you know what is normal and what isn't. We were lucky that we give Amelia belly rubs every night before bed and we found it! Please be vigilant for their sake and yours. Amelia won't be on the walks for a week or so after the surgery until her stitches come out but I'll still be taking them. Please send good thoughts and wishes our way on Wednesday, I'll definitely need them and hoping for a quick recovery 🤞🥰🐾

Have you seen these cute collars from Wild Dog? Very awesome that you can get them tattooed with name, phone number or the landscape scene! I'm thinking about getting one for Amelia 🤔 Has anyone got a collar from them before?
