Nui wants everyone to know how smart he is and show off his newest trick….. “Roll”
This started after he accidently did it while playing like the goofball he is, so we decided to see if he would pick up the command using treats. As you see he is very enthusiastic about it, so we did have to down grade the treat to a ball as he was getting too many treats; and the vet told him he’s a bit chunky 😳 He was a bit heartbroken about this news and needed a bit of a snuggle from his favourite person 😌

This little man had ALOT of attention at the Hamilton dog fair but no one has come forward to add him to there family :(
Cupid is a 6-month-old Staffy x, and he sure loves to have a good play and zoom around, he is a very social pup and is very good when it comes to playing and getting along with other dogs. I was super proud of him at the Hamilton dog fair he got on with every dog he met and didn't cause any issues either. We are working on learning how to take treats gently as his stomach takes control and the treats disappear very fast. Cupid is fine around cats he dose want to play with them so do set some boundaries for him so he doesn't constantly harass your cat.
If there is anything that Cupid loves more than his humans, is TOYS and lots of them. Cupid couldn’t quite choose which toy he wanted to play with and ends up getting frustrated that he cannot pick up 2 toys at once with his small puppy mouth 😂. Sorry Cupid but your mouth will never be big enough to fit more than one toy, but keep trying its fun to watch.
This handsome boy is fully vaccinated, this means that the adoption fee for him is $360. This includes his desexing, registration, microchip and a 3kg bag of Blackhawk dog food.

Don't forget to send us through photos of your properties fencing so we can see that Cupid will be contained and not free to go and wonder around your neighbourhood.

Hi I’m Cookie 🍪
I’m just jumping on to let you know that I am still available for adoption ❤️ I am the cutest little Collie x you ever did see. My helpful hooman has been helping me learn the basic manners needed for my home. I can sit for my breakfast and wait patiently whilst she pours the bikkies into my bowl and even lie down. I’m currently learning how to shake paws 🤝 but I do get confused when she asks for the other paw 😂 When we go for little walks I always like to check in and make sure she is still there and she gives me treats and praise (which I really love). I am still a puppy but I am soaking up all the training so I can be the perfect dog for my perfect home 🐾
If you can offer me the perfect home please get in touch with my friends and give them information about the home and yourself. The more information the better 😊

As promised, here is an update post for how well Chanel did with the cats. She even met our cheeky baby goat, who escaped the paddock 😂 Chanel would do well in a home with a confident cat.

Chino 💙
Today Chino had a break from the kennels and spent some time in a home environment.
The staff member had a kid free weekend and what else to do when the house is dead quiet. Bring home a boof head thats like having two kids running around.
Chino did awesome ! Even took the stairs up to the house like a champ (50 steps 😂). Resident cats were locked away at the other end of the house so no drama lama’s took place.
Chino just loves toys! A bit of a toy thief haha, even tried sneaking the small kids toys. He may be cute but hes naughtly and will try sneak the things he shouldnt.
Chino have improved his self awareness in the office and with the furniture there but in a new enviroment he was back to being a silly bulldozer, banging into the clothes wracks, couches and trying to get into small areas behind couches. Just such a goofball.
When Chino gets excited, he starts to jump up which even for a adult male, can get pushed over. A home with older children closer to teenage age and are large dog savy is a must.
Hes not a bad dog, he is improving and doing amazing but hes going to need a home with an owner ready to continue his training to keep moving him forward and not backwards.
Chino needs good fencing, even the solid unit will try get over gates that are waist to chest height.

Mabel and Co. Pupdate!

Mabel has done a fabulous job to get this far and we are happy to annouce all eleven beautiful babes have come along way to reach four weeks old. If it wasn't for Mabels nature we couldn't have supported her (so glad she never has to do this again!). She has shown how sweet she is in her foster home and yes there has been moments she has got her time out, especially now the little ones are on the go!
Enjoy a wee video of their first few weeks and keep an eye out for their debut, boy have they grown fast. 🐾

Im looking for a furever home! I know its out there, can you help me find it ?! 🐶
Ive come along way from when i first arrived at the pound and i will continue to be the best boy that i get called all the time by a worker. I know shes not meant to have favourites but she keeps calling me her best mate!? So i must be 😉 I get to hang out if her office, and i only ran into her desk once 🙈 she said i cant be a bulldozer inside and then insisted on applying some tissues by my eye. Apparently i hurt myself but i didnt notice, because i was to excited about TOYS !
Toys are life ! If i could have one wish it would be to have a never ending supply of toys, but if i could have two wishes it would be that and a home.
I love greeting anyone that walks past the door, some times they stop and pat me. But im not allowed to roam the whole office freely because i dont like cats 🐱 ew, who would like them anyway ?! They act like they rule the world 🙄 pfft, obviously not.
I am getting better at walking on a lead. I now sit and wait for the worker to come into the kennel to put on the lead instead of using my boof head to push my way out.
Im not great at making friends with other male dogs, but what can i say 🤷🏼♀️ i am a ladies man.
