Did you know dog skin has a different pH to humans? 🤔

Dog skin pH is usually between 6.5-7.5 (neutral), while human skin is usually between 4.7-5.7 (mildly acidic)

How often should your wash your dog? 🤔

As a general rule once a month works for most dogs, but their lifestyle can increase or decrease the frequency they might need👇🏻

🌲 Does your dog often have walks through forest, parks or other dirty and muddy areas? They will definitely need washing more.

🏡 Conversely, if your dog spends most of its time walking on concrete it may needs less regular baths.

🩵 With many dogs being allowed on the couch (and even the bed!) it's important they are clean and smell fresh!

WashBar Top Tip #23 ~ Get organised Get all your bits and pieces ready before you start bathing your dog. Towel, WashBar, sponge, cloth for the face and ears, lickimat if you use one, and of course treats!

Top Tip #8 ~ Brush it Out Baby! Give your dog's coat a thorough brush before bathing. This helps remove the loose and dead hairs and allows the rich WashBar lather to more easily reach the skin. It also stimulates the blood flow promoting healthy skin. #brushbeforebath #washbarlove
