A massive thank you to Craggy Range Winery - A Children's Christmas for their generosity of Christmas sacks for our young people!

As one of the recipient organisations, we are so grateful for the Christmas sacks filled with joy, love, and thoughtful gifts. These have brought so much excitement and happiness to the young people in our programme.

It is also a pleasure to be with you on the packing evening of this event - the community spirit at this event is always so much fun to be a part of.

🎉 Exciting News! Applications Now Open for School-Based Mentors!

We’re thrilled to launch a new school-based mentoring programme in Hawke’s Bay with Big Brothers Big Sisters!

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a child aged 6-11 by becoming their mentor at one of our partner schools. You’ll meet with your young person once a week during the school year—right on school grounds. Together, you’ll enjoy fun activities that build trust, confidence, and friendship.

What’s involved?
✔️ Meet with your mentee for one hour weekly during school hours.
✔️ All mentors are fully screened, trained, and supported by our professional team
✔️ Matches are guided by a BBBS Mentor Coordinator (Kairuruku), so you’re never in this alone!

Shane my Little Brother called around this afternoon for our last catch up of the year. It's been a privilege to be part of his life for another year.
