SHOWING: Help Get Breeze to the Sydney Grand National 2025 - An update on the recent piece I did on Donna Brent-Jones and hug dapple grey mare Trevalda Mountain Breeze! The are kicking on and are aiming to compete in Australia at Grand Nationals in Sydney. Donna has started this page if you would like to follow it.
There is to be a Show Jumping practice day even my as a fundraiser held at Kawerau Pony Club on Sunday 5th January 2025.

North Island Welsh Pony & Cob Show: Entries close tomorrow (Saturday)

🚨Entries for the 45th North Island Welsh Pony and Cob Show close TOMORROW (28/12)!🚨

Make sure to head to EvoEvents to submit your entries. We will accept late entries until the 2nd of January, but please note a 50% late fee will apply.

If you’re adding classes to your entries, this also needs to be done by TOMORROW, the 28th.

A few exciting details for the show:

🍔 Savanahs ltd will have their food trucks onsite all weekend, offering delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

🎩 NIWPCS hats are still available and can be preordered or purchased at the tent.

Don’t miss our 45th Celebration Dinner on Saturday (4th) evening!
Everyone is welcome. You can grab a meal from the food trucks or bring your own. The dinner will be held downstairs in the indoor arena.

EVENTING:

We are thrilled to announce that the South Island Eventing Development camp is being held on the 22-23rd March 2025 in conjunction with the ESNZ Demo & Dabble being held at Dunstan Horsefeeds NEC - Christchurch

This is the second year we have re-introduced these camps following Covid and they have certainly been growing in popularity.

The first day will consist of Dressage and Jumping, followed by Cross Country on the second day under the watchful eyes of expert coaches.

Further information as well how to enter will be released in late January 2025 🥳

“Muz is a true all rounder. We’ve dabbled at many things over the years but with showing he does really well in the Show Riding Horse section and his Paced & Mannered classes.

We went to two A&P shows this season and he has qualified for HOY with these outings which is really exciting.

He enjoys Working Hunter and Hunter Jumping (RTR) though he can get really forward channelling that sprinter in him.

This season he won Champion Riding Horse and the Paced & Mannered at Poverty Bay A&P. He backed up and won the Paced & Mannered at Central Hawke’s Bay A&P Show.

He collected a number of other placings at both shows in the Show Riding Horse classes and also a 3rd place in the Hunter Jumping RTR at CHB A&P Show along with the TiES placings.”
