A Great.beginning to the 2025 show season with our lovely girl Summer winning best bitch and best of breed after a long break from the show.ring in a line up of 9 in.breed entries .Dear.old Romy now aged.13 placed 4th in the veteran stakes showing he can still strut his stuff . It was nice sharing the day.with.friends and.fellow spitz competitors .Bianca's Kimi.did well also being runner up bitch and reserve.best of breed . It was.a.fun day despite the fickle weather.Thank goodness.good friends Bianca.and Alan brought their gazebo so we managed to remain dry between the showers

We have decided to rehome our gorgeous girl Bree . She is a registered pedigree Japanese Spitz with Dogs NZ . Bree is lovely girl and is just 7 months old. We kept her to try her in the show ring but she does not enjoy it so we feel she would.enjoy being someone's loved pet more .
Bree is quite wary around strangers and other dogs other than her own breed so she will need a home where her owners would be patient with her and gently socialise her . She is very cuddly and loving within her own family environment and people she knows .
She is crate trained and toilet trained .
She has had all her.vaccinations and is microchipped . She needs a well fenced property with people who can spend time with
her as this breed.loves.spending time with you .
We would prefer to meet potential new owners and.for them to meet.Bree . Please.get.in touch. if.you would like to meet.her .
We.are sonpleaded.to announce Bree has found a wonderful new home .

A busy day at the nationals ,started at 9am and finished 7pm . It was a long day for all concerned . The dogs managed.to pick up a few nice frillies for their efforts .

Took.Akira and.Bree for a.bit of socialisation and.a play at our.local dog.park , they.both had a great. to time ..They also got ,to meet.2 other dogs that were using.the park . Bree had fun playing on some of.the agility obstacles .

Very successful return to the show ring for our dogs after a 5 month.break . From 3 shows winning all 3 Best of breed ,2 reserve best of breed and.a best.bitch . Shimo ( 2 best of breed and a reserve best of breed ) Casper a best of breed ,. Akira. a best bitch and a reserve of breed . It was a great weekend , and lovely to spend time catching up with our fellow Japanese Spitz collegues .

Our dogs did well at the shows today. The Non Sporting & Utility Shimo ( Arashi.Shimo.Storm )was best dog and best of breed Casper ( Arashi Heavens Above ) reserve dog . Rotorua Championship.show 1 Casper was.best Dog & Best of Breed , Shimo reserve dog and reserve best.of breed ,.
Bree ( Arashi The Devil Wears Prada ) made her debut and got some nice comments from both judges saying she was nicely balanced.and moved.well but was feeling a bit overwhelmed.by it all and.wouldn't put.her tail up . Never mind she is a.baby and.will.improve with.experience and as she gains confidence.. So pleased.for our friend Bianca who got 2 .best bitch wirh.her.lovely girl Kimi ..

Had a little practise at stacking , Miss Bree (Arashi The Devil Wears Prada ) She finally stood long enough so we could get a few pictures taken but would prefer to play than stand still and look pretty . Work in progress I think . We took her down town today now she has had all her shots to give her a bit of.socialisation . She didn't seem to be too fazed.and was intrigued by all the people.coming.and going.
