In early July 2016, we were on a well deserved holiday in New York City. While we were there, we learned about a wee Boston Terrier named Libre who had been found in a shocking state & nursed back to health by the dedication of an organisation called Speranza Animal Rescue. Based in Pennsylvania, they didn‘t give up and Libre was given another chance at life. Like Rodney The Cat, he is now an advocate for animals and was instrumental in changing welfare laws. Speranza put out the call for a fundraising venture which involved sponsoring either a stable or a kennel at the rescues. Unfortunately, the stables were all spoken for so we sponsored a kennel and now have a plaque at Speranza. Look them up on Facebook to find out what they do for all animals that come into their care ###🐾💞

A sad day at Santo today as we said goodbye to our beautiful wee boy “Sq**rt”. We are sorry we couldn’t fix your boo-boo Sq**rt and had to make the toughest of decisions. We will miss your little face greeting us every morning over the gate & especially your kisses. Rest in love little man 🐎🌈💞💔💞

Meet Ashley & Jacinda. These 2 girls have had a life of free ranging in the city but the local cat has been eyeing them up so they needed to be rehomed. Thankyou Anne-Marie & Andrew for entrusting their care to us. Welcome girls to Santo Stables! 🐔🐔💞

Big weekend for our Tuffy. Arrived 10 weeks ago as an orphaned/abandoned baby. After much love & care she put on her big girl un**es & joined the other wild ducks over the weekend. Nice surprise this morning to find her back in her house. Wont be long & we won’t see her again until Spring 🐣🦆
