Classes for dogs of all ages including a specific puppy class. Home visits for one on one training and helping you choose the right dog for you and your family. Help with solving behavioural problems with your dog or dogs. Trick training classes to impress the friends. Competition training for:

Heel work to music (Dancing with your dog). Film and Television:
Providing the right dogs and animals for the job so as not to waste film and time. Trainer of the following:

Prince Terrien (Bridge to Terabithia)
and many more famous dogs and animals. Agrade Animals is owned and run by Karen Sadler. Karen Sadler has trained dogs for over 25 years including a huge number of domestic dogs of all breeds and ages. Of Karens own dogs 3 have become obedience grand champions 4 obedience champions, she has also won seven national titles in obedience and 2 in agility. Karen is a specialist dog trainer and has studied canine behaviour with Massey University. She is expert in coaching people on how to train their dogs and the training methods are fun and rewarding for you and your dog. Karen Sadler is also the author of "Kids and Dogs can be friends". This is a book designed for children living with dogs to teach them how to interact safely. ages 0-7 childrens pictue book.

Just remember, even if you don’t succeed today the dog you take home is your buddy and might just need a better understanding of what’s required or just might have had a head ache today 😂

With classes starting back up next week.
I was thinking about dog training and why we train dogs:
A dog is an animal that has natural instincts and depending on their breed They might Guard, herd, protect, Fight, obsess over things, struggle coping on their own, and hunt. To name just a few.
But what we as humans want is for our dogs to be wonderful, loving, social companions.
How do we achieve this?

Training and conditioning and reinforcing positive behaviour

Let’s make 2025 into the year we as humans, work hard with our dogs to achieve. The dogs can’t do it on their own.

Very sad day yesterday when I got a phone call from Cathy McAlister telling me Kaz was very very unwell and the decision was made that he should not suffer. Kaz has now gone over the rainbow bridge where I am sure his first owner Sue Tyson will be waiting for him.

I have to thank Cathy McAlister❤️ for giving Kaz the very best of homes and life. And one that was so close to his first one that Kaz just fitted straight in.
Thoughts and hugs for you Cathy
Kaz was so loved by a number of people whose lives he touched.
He will be remembered always by those that knew him. Such a lovely lovely boy.
