Had an awesome weekend at the New Zealand Taxidermy Association competition. First time entering with first sheep I made. Got awarded the red ribbon. Had some good critiuqe from our judge so I know what I need to work on.
Would like to thank everyone who helped me to get started in the industry, I am very grateful.

NZDA is proud to announce that for the first time we are hosting the first Hunting and Wild Life Expo, led by the team at NZDA Hutt Valley Branch.

📆 Saturday 13th July at the Lower Hutt Events Centre, Wellington.

Thousands of hunters from across the country will be coming together for the Expo: https://www.deerstalkers.org.nz/hunting-and-wildlife-expo/

The Expo will not only provide hunters around the Lower North Island to connect, get valuable information, and discounts from our exhibitors but also will introduce the non-hunting public to our sport and the NZDA. This is important because it allows us to showcase the valuable conservation role that hunters play in maintaining our environment and give people an easy introduction should they wish to learn to hunt themselves.

The Hunting and Wildlife Expo is a family-friendly event and we encourage you to bring your little hunters and huntresses to enjoy the day.

If anyone been wondering the last few days if we can make a headshot stag that's been cut too short look presentable, the answer is yes.
Can also fix broken antlers, recreate missing tines ,restore old euro and shoulder mounts.
