Welcome Dougal

This morning we added a new addition to our Four Small Paws family, Dougal, a wire haired Dachshund.

Dougal did amazing on his first visit with us this morning. He was very excited upon arrival and couldn’t wait to get wait to get through the door.

Though meeting new dogs can be quite nervous for some, Dougal took it like a champ! He instantly made friends with our 2 Corgi’s, Atlas and Gryffin, and the 3 played well together all morning, taking rest breaks when needed.

We loved having Dougal with us today and very much look forward to having him back again.

Happy Monday Four Small Paws Family!!!

Every dog has its day, and at Four Small Paws it's Monday!

Your dog is wonderful. You know it, we know it and now more people can know it.

Starting next Monday, Four Small Paws will be publishing "Dog of the Week" on its social media channels.

What do you need to do:

Send us through a short story (1- 4 sentences) of why your dog should be dog of the week. Share something about them that makes them great.

It could be something funny, why you love them or something funny/not so funny that makes you love them even more....

Email your story through to us at [email protected] and your fur baby/babies could be in the spotlight as Four Small Paw's Dog of the week.

You need to be a current Four Small Paws customer to enter.

If you don't get selected immediately, don't worry there will be other weeks. Once submitted, your dog will still be eligible for future publications.

Good afternoon to our Four Small Paws Family.

The weekend is almost upon us. Just a few housekeeping notes on behalf of our team:

- Please make sure you have your bookings all done for next week. Please try and have them within 2 working days. This will make sure we have adequate staff coverage.

- If you would like to pick up your pup early out of normal session times, or are running late for pickup. Please just give the centre a ring. We usually have the door locked during out of session times and are outside enjoying the company of your precious pups. This will make sure we know you are coming, and can have your dog all ready for you.

- Payment of invoices are due on the daycare day or day after where possible please.

- Please ensure your pup has a collar/harness and lead when attending all daycare sessions.

- If your dog is unwell (just like kindy). Please keep them home to help the stop the spread of sickness.Vomiting, 24hr break.

- Please be assured that we try to capture photos of all our pups, but this is not always possible as a scheduled part of the day. Our first priority is to give as much time, care and attention to our Pawfect Pups as possible. Ensuring they have an enriched, engaged time whilst attending daycare. Owners can request, (where time permits) a photo of their pup. We can then email them through to them accordingly.

- We will be opening up bookings for our the Christmas/January season as of the 1st March. You will then be able to go online and book directly through our Customer Portal.

Finally just a reminder to all our Pawrents. We have been having some rather hot days at daycare. Please be mindful over the weekend to keep your pup cool and hydrated.

Welcome our new Paw friend.

Misiu was a little nervous upon arrival. Not long after meeting our more calm and relaxed dogs, she was keen to meet our more playful, energetic dogs. She socialised well and explored the new surroundings happily. Though she wasn’t quite fully confident, her little tail didn’t stop wagging.

Misiu was super friendly with both staff and other dogs during her first visit at FSP and constantly came over to us for a pat or cuddle, which we were more than happy to give.

Overall she did great, and we look forward to having her back at Four Small Paws to watch her confidence grow, make new friends and see her personality shine.

Joe Joe had a good first day.

He wasn't interested in making any friends just yet, but he got lots of pats

He had a good explore of the facility. We can't wait to see how his personality grows as he gets more confident around the other dogs.

Welcome our new Paw friend.

Dexter is a 1 year old Jack Russell who is full of life and very sociable.

He showed no hesitation in greeting others and made friends instantly. Dexter and his chosen play group, which consisted of him and 2 corgis, began playing as soon as he enter the play area.

During cardboard play, Dexter got right in and had some fun ripping up egg cartons, paper bags and toilet rolls, displaying

Overall, Dexter did fantastic during his first day trial. He showed us great manners, listening skills and played well with everyone.

We look forward to having him back again!

A warm welcome to the newest members of the Four Small Paws pack, Gary, Gordon and Misiu!

Though they were a little nervous upon entry on their first days, all three quickly came out of their shells and began making new friends, both dogs and staff, with ease.

They all confidently explored the new environment, checking out both our inside/outside areas and all the fun activities and toys for them to enjoy.

Gary, Gordon and Misiu all did amazingly for their first visits with us and the team at FSP look forward to you all joining us and the pack again!

So, you've been seeing some extra support at Four Small Paws while our Di has been working hard on her recovery from a sports injury these last couple of months and this is a very delayed intro to our Troy (sorry Troy!) who's an absolute gem with (y)our dogs, albeit still a bit shy with people 😉

Troy is an amazing drummer, keen to teach anyone who's interested (just ask him), as well as a highly competitive tennis player with a warm love for dogs.

We've been very lucky he's been able to give us a hand to look after your furry friends during his school break and it is not long before he start his new school career in film, watch out Peter Jackson!

Please do say hi to him when you see him! We're sure your dogs will get used to him pretty quickly if not already!

Welcome Ella 🐾

This morning Ella joined the pack at Four Small Paws for the first time.

Though she may be small, her confidence was large. She happily explored the new environment and met our calmer/quieter dogs to start and had no problems. She was then gradually introduced to our more energetic dogs and made friends with them almost instantly. No matter their size, Ella was keen to greet them.

Ella showed great manners and followed commands with ease. She was very friendly togethers staff and loved receiving some good pats.

We’re very impressed with how great Ella did with us during her first visit and very much look forward to having her back again.

Welcome Freddy!

Today, we welcome Freddy, the beautiful Pomeranian, to join our pack at Four Small Paws. 🐾

Though it was Freddy’s first visit, he was running around and playing like he’s been here a million times before and already knew all the dogs. He was keen to interact with the pack and instantly made friends with everyone, staff and dogs. Freddy socialised well and showed lots of confidence.

Freddy did amazing for his time at daycare and we look forward to having him back in the future.
