With great sadness that I announce I groomed my last dog today 🥺. Tomorrow is the official last day of trade, but Daniel has his first school visit (I can't quite believe that I'll have both my boys at school soon!)
Thank you to all my customers, supporters, and babysitters 🥰 I couldn't have done it without you.
I wish everyone the best, and I will miss your dogs dearly. Skye will miss all her playmates too.
I'll keep this page open for a month or so. You are welcome to message me, on here or via text, if your new groomer has questions about what we normally do 🙂

Ball and Bone closing 31st August 2023.

It is with great sadness that I have decided to close Ball and Bone at the end of August.
Most of you are aware that I have been struggling with pain in my hands and elbows for a few years now. Unfortunately, my long awaited surgery was not to be as they couldn't confirm the cause and therefore are unable to fix it; so I am currently waiting to see the pain clinic. Therefore, I have decided to have a break from grooming and try to rest my hands as much as possible and to focus on my family.

I would like to thank each and everyone of my clients. I am very grateful for those that have stuck with me trying to work around my boys. I love all your dogs dearly and I will miss them all.
I will message everyone in the coming days too. I have been in contact with some local Upper Hutt groomers and have some options as to where you may go.

I love doing de-sheds! It is so satisfying to see the fluff come out with the dryer. Just don't like the clean up afterwards as it gets everywhere 😒 Harley here must be feeling so much lighter after his groom this morning.
