The drought has broken, so inside away from that wet stuff.
Here are the almost 2yr olds having their 1st time on float - they were super chilled, very proud!
They get put up cattle race as youngsters so being in small space no big deal.
Then had about 17 riders turn up for a day out - big day and all did great!

Well I hope you lot aren't getting this lovely Nor'wester!
I do not recommend (even if it gets you away from the kids) to go out and fix some tape fences that have got tangled - trust me that s**t can wait....... 8v x3 with no wine. No one should have to experience that.
Then coming home to tell hubby that's got a kick?!!
Only to see a proud face and "stay within the lines"
He thinks he's funny.

Hubby even came back with an orphan lamb... yes, yes in Jan!!
Even my main mare Bells approves of new shed, happily hanging out by herself.

It's all coming together, hoping fencing done by Dec. Then look out horses it's time to get fit ..... Oh and me - I've discovered that rough concrete is great for horses but DANG sweeping it is an Olympic sport.

Always relieved to have foaling over and all gone smoothly!

All that's left to do is put eye ointment into my hacks eye....... I gave up contacts as I couldn't stand eye poking, WISH me luck!!

Paris has been a race horse, a mum and now she's starting her ridden career. She is 15yrs about 15hh and has a very cool calm attitude to life. She's had about 6 rides to date with several days inbetween - she's a grab out of the paddock and go kinda girl. She's been on farm since Dec '16 so is no stranger to LOUD dogs, tractors, flapping plastic etc. More photos to come :)
