Community Rehome

We are not met this dog. Please contact owner, details below.

Unexpectedly moving overseas by the end of Dec, we would like to find a home for Patches here in NZ, if we can or even a foster home from Dec 26th for a minimum of 6 months.

We have found it really difficult to secure a rental in Aus from NZ and the one we did find is not pet friendly. We are happy to provide food and her deworming, etc.

Patches is:-
Microchipped✅
Fully vaccinated ✅
Desexed ✅
Located in Hamilton

After 16 months of getting Patches home, since she was 6 weeks (think she was a 'Rose' before we got her😁), we have to make the really hard decision to rehome/ foster her out.💔

Patches is a gorgeous Mastiff X Staffy (thats what we were told).. She loves humans, loves her blue blanket, loves her one and only yellow chew toy and loves the sun🌞

She gets along well with other dogs, unsure of cats 🤷‍♀️ but definitely loves her humans.

Patches is playful, enjoys short drives and cannot wait to go for her walks.

She needs to go to a home where there are people at home to give her the attention she needs as she's super affectionate. In saying that, she's more than okay to be by herself but she misses her humans.

Peggy has unfortunately found herself back in the shelter through no fault of her own, so we’re on the hunt for her true happily ever after.

Peggy is six years old and a ridiculously loving little cat who just wants a laid-back lifestyle hanging out with her special person. Her cuddle skills are 10/10 (as long as you don’t mind a little dribble…) and her idea of a good time is showing you how much she loves you.

Kids (gentle ones) haven’t been an issue for her in the past, and she’s great with the other inmates in the shelter. Dogs are an unknown.

Goat lovers!!!

I'm looking to rehome our 10 goats, we're just outside of Ohakune, Ruapehu. They can go either all together or in small groups, 2/3's.

We are looking for pet only homes, so not suited for breeding, eating etc. Not suited for families with young children, ideally 10+.

They are of different ages 4 to 8 years; male & female & different breeds. The males have been desexed.

The first group is 2 females called Shortie (Shortcake) & Snowball. Shortie is a mixed breed & Snowball is an Angora both around 4 years old. (first 2 photos).

Shortie came to us from a farmer who found her wandering but couldn't keep her. Shortie is headstrong & tries to show her dominance over me but not my husband. I think it's because she's just been around men. Not ideal around children. She sometimes likes to escape so will need good fencing. Snowball came from a friend who kept her chained up & was going to dispose of her so I said we'd take her. She's very gentle around people.

Then there is Oreo & Tim Tam. Both have come from Ag day experiences. Oreo was going to the crock pot if we hadn't taken him in. We picked him up from Whakatane. Tim Tam came from another family that didn't want him & he has foot issues from when he was little. He sometimes walks funny, like a sergeant major. Hubby keeps his feet trimmed to stop him from walking funny. Both boys have bonded so can't be split up.

The next group is Ralphie, Alfie & Dottie. They came to us as kids from another rescue in 2017. So, they've grown up together & cannot be split up. They are Alpine, Sannan crosses so we've been told. They are really gentle. Ralphie is taller than the other 2 which are brother & sister. Alfie loves kisses whenever i go into the paddock.

Licorice was found wandering the streets of a local town & given to the spca who gave him to us.

Knobby & Kitty were found as tiny babies after there mum was killed in a cull. We picked them up & bottle fed them in our kitchen before being put into the nursery paddock with Licorice as he was a baby when found. Kitty is a small goat with blue eyes. Knobby is small also & has a mixture of black & brown fur. Licorice is a small boy with black fur.

Unfortunately, we need them going asap as I've moved to Auckland & hubby needs to move up before Christmas ideally but can hold out to the first week of the new year. I know that's not far off.

Its time to advertise our 2 piggies Penny & Pete who are 6 years old.

Penny & Pete I honestly believe need to get a divorce & live seperate lives.

Pete came to us over 4 years ago from Rotorua. He was living in a suburban area but had come to his previous owners as a piglet. He had been mauled as a piglet & lost his left ear & damaged his eye. So he's deaf & partially blind on his left side. So we try not to approach him on that side as it startles him.

He loves his mud baths. He is desexed.

Penny his wife is not desexed. She wears the pants in the relationship & recently has been bullying her hubby & he's had enough of it. So they've been tussling/ fighting a lot & he's not coming off lightly even though he's standing his ground. When she's on her own she's a lovely girl, loves her food & being scratched down her back. She also loves sunbathing.

Looking for pet only homes, no breeding from Penny.

Wow! Thank you so much everyone. We can now save this girl. We have had found a foster home with a few back-ups if required. Just amazing - Thank you.

Urgent! We urgently need a foster home for this very sweet girl. 8-12months old and smaller than a Labrador, slightly bigger than a Staffy.

Waikato area prefered.

Must be able to commit to fostering. All dog expenses paid....
