🌟 Meet Stoney 🌟

Stoney became very sick, very quickly. Thankfully, his owners acted fast and sought advice from us . He was diagnosed with polioencephalomalacia (PEM) — a Vitamin B1 deficiency.

Vitamin B1, produced in the rumen, can be depleted if the microflora is disturbed. When this happens, it can lead to swelling of the brain, causing severe symptoms.

Thanks to timely treatment of Vitamin B1 supplementation, Stoney is back to his happy, healthy self! 🐾💚

What a happy ending for Stoney! 😊

She is microchipped and we would love to return her to her owners. Microchip not on the national data base or regional council.
