Welcome to Karamu Trail Track est 2020. Here is a video of a classic horse trek we do. As you can see though there are plenty of other tracks we can take we are not limited to this.
Treks are $35 for an hour $45 for 2 hours using our trekking horses. We cater for all levels of riding.
If you want to BYO horse then it's only $15 and you are welcome to tag along on our guided trek to get the general outline of the tracks.

We also offer glow worm treks at night for a truly unique experience after dark.
Over night camping is only $5 per person if you want to stay over with your horses then again contact [email protected] for pricing and availability.
In addition to these amazing treks we do motorbike trails every second Sunday. The next being the weekend of the 13th of February. It's $20 for adults $10 for children.

The beautiful Pebbles who had the white Clydesdale foal last March is now slowly being bought back into work. Great to get her out and about and build some muscles while her foal gets use to the separation.
Don't worry he is in good hands with his stepfather Star. Star looks after Karamu while Pebbles is out 🥰. Horses are amazing.
Glad we have some cooler spots on the treks because its so hot at the moment.

Remember to turn up 30min before your trek because we do need to go through some health and safety things with you before you ride.
Even if you are a rider our horses have been trained a particular way which we need to brief you on and then match you up to the right horse for the best experience 😊.

I think General delighted the riders today. No one could believe how small he is but also how great he was on the trek, keeping up and having Giselle swing on and off and around him.
Giselle has done a beautiful job breaking him in, from an unhandled stallion 8 weeks ago to this.

The hay is cut and baled, the weather is mint. We don't trek this side of the farm but here is a quick clip of the paddocks on the Limeworks Loop side 😄.
I took a ride with a few of the volunteers today which was nice and we rode our own horses for a change. The trekking horses definitely deserve a few days off before School holidays are in full swing.

We were rained put past weekend but this weekend we were busy busy.

Regardless of conditions we have been busy over the school holidays. We have had big groups, lots of families and all sorts coming through.

Well we got 2 treks in yesterday and got right up the very top but not too much to see with the day being so cloudy and wet.
