Mary is a Registered Vet Nurse, specialising in her passion of Dog Training and helping owners have well-mannered pets by using reward based training techniques that are scientifically sound. Her Dog Training career started in
1989, when she helped form the first operational search dogs, Alpine Rescue Dogs, in the lower South Island, and had one of the first operation search dogs during that period. Mary is a NZKC Recognised Canine Good Citizen, CGC, Training Provider, who is continually updating her knowledge and skills by attending workshops and courses run by world renown Animal Behaviourists, Naturalists and Training Experts such as Dr Sophia Yin, Rodger Abrantes and Dr Susan Friedman and is currently studying a Diploma in Canine Behaviour and Science Technology, Dip.CBST, through the Companion Animal and Sciences Institute.
