We apologise having to turn down many of our new customers because we have been fully booked over our peak seasons, school and public holidays.

Surely, everyone has been getting back to work and school these weeks and we hope you'll all settle in soon.

Please don't forget though, to plan ahead any trips away to make sure your pup has a Boarding spot with us 🙏🏽

Booking regular daycare sessions will help secure these highly sought after slots also, so do give us a call asap!

Jacqui, our youngest and one of our most fierce team members who is in constant control of our packs of dogs for over a year as well as being an incredible, reliable member of our Paw Palace whānau!

What does she not do?! Acing school, high level archery and not to mention the travelling, we're so lucky she finds the time to look after (y)our doggies!

Only a couple more high school exams to go, and you'll be seeing her more over summer also!

From following Newlands College 's Gateway Programme to nailing a first job contract, we are so happy you joined our Paw Palace whānau Vincente!

Paw Palace is privileged to be working with our local education providers and participating with their Gateway Programmes to support our NZ Youth in creating valuable work experience opportunities.

Only one exam to go and Vincente will be with (y)our dogs out more over summer, so let's wish him good luck with tomorrow's exam, you got this bud!! 💪🏽💪🏽

Our Daniel is the most quiet one from our Paw Palace team but has such a gentle heart for our dogs!

Steadily gaining more professional work experience during his weekend shifts with us over the last couple of years, he's glad he finished his 2nd year at uni.

Over summer, you might see him spending more time with us, so if you do, don't shy away to say Kia Ora, and maybe even encourage (in other words, tease) him by asking if he's got his restricted driver's license yet?! 😉

Not only does he magic with our packs of dogs both at Glenside and Papakōwhai, but his husbandry maintenance is top notch, thank you, Mr Santika!

It's nearly Guy Fawkes fellow dog lovers!

Here are some tips to look after your pup (in addition to the ones in the picture):

• ⁠Desensitise to sound of fireworks - pairing a video of fireworks on a low volume, loud enough for your dog to hear but not show signs of stress, and treats your dog likes.

• Stay calm and happy so your dog can take your lead on those good emotions as dogs are highly attuned to our emotions

• ⁠Close curtains to take attention away from flashing lights

• ⁠Reward their good behaviour.

• ⁠Desensitise to sound of fireworks - pairing a video of fireworks on a low volume, loud enough for your dog to hear but not show signs of stress, and treats your dog likes.
