Leveisha Kennels is a small, family run kennels promoting the Border Collie and German Spitz Mittel breeds. We take great pride in producing great family pets, with a great temperament, intelligence as well as good looks. Our dogs are a big part of our families, they are well loved and have access to run amuck on 10 acres of land or curl up inside, on the couch. Our dogs have grown up being campai

gned in the breed ring and they always give their best. Many of our dogs are imported from overseas to ensure we have depth in our breeding lines, we also DNA test ALL our show dogs as well as hip/elbow score our Border Collies. All of our puppies are sold with a pet contract, DogsNZ papers with endorsements as well as a puppy information pack to get you started the right way with your puppy. We have created this page so we can keep in regular contact with all of our puppy owners around NZ and overseas and to share our successes.

Wow, just wow!! News just in from Australia, both puppies recently exported to Australia have won Baby Puppy of Group- Non Sporting today at their respective shows. This is a massive achievement for me as the breeder and co-owner of both pups.

They are full younger siblings to Johnnie - Ch Leveisha On The Rocks a recent group winner himself!

Congratulations to the two owners of these pups for the love and training you have put into them. You both must be thrilled!! ❤️

Also a big THANK YOU to my dearest friends and mentors Anita Andrew and Fran Llancarfan German Spitz. Without you this dream would never have happened!!

Smudge had all the girls on his tail this morning as he did his early morning zoom session! While others enjoyed the first bits of sun shining through 🐾

🐶🐾IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ/SHARE 🐾🐶

There is a gastro bug going around Wellington so keep an eye on your pooches! Like the common cold, these things happen from time to time. Gastro bugs can be caused by many different reasons and can last up to a week, depending on the severity of the bug.

Common symptoms of this are;

🤢 Vomiting - may appear foamy, yellowish bile
💩 Diarrohea - may contain traces of blood
🤒 Lethargy
🥦 Lack of appetite

If your dog is showing any of these signs. Please keep them rested at home. You can help your dog by;

💧 Keeping them hydrate
🍚 Keep them on a bland diet for a few day - chicken & rice diets may help
😴 Keep them rested

If the above symptoms persit - 🚑 GET THEM TO THE VET 🚑
