Good morning y’all!

With the onset of Spring we have seen a big increase in bookings. Currently we are booking out a month ahead, and December is getting very full.

So if you have yet to make a booking for your dog don’t leave it too late 🤗.

LUSH PUPPIES WINTER WARMER SPECIAL 🐶🥰

With the onset of Winter we would like to announce a 2 week special for our customers to take advantage of.

We do see a lot of clients hesitant to get their pups groomed fearing that it’s too cold in Winter.

We would like to offer a 20% discount for all hygiene groom bookings between the dates 3 - 14th July.

The hygiene groom (formally called bath and tidy) is an excellent winter option which helps keep their coat maintained over the cooler months when we want to keep that extra coat length.

The service includes a bath and brush out, hygiene areas trimmed, as well as the paws and nails.

So please, if you would like to take advantage of this special please call the salon on 04 388 6310 or email [email protected].

Be quick as spaces are limited!!!!

Please note, this service may not be suitable for excessively matted or knotty dogs, but feel free to get in touch and we can discuss any concerns or queries if needed.

Congratulations are in order for our groomer Brooke.
Brooke recently sat her profiency exam for the National Dog Groomers of NZ certification.

This is her first exam out of 4 in total over the next 3 years , with the end result becoming a certified Master Groomer of NZ. It’s quite a journey and requires a lot of dedication and skill.

A big thanks to our owners of these doggos (Holly and Lucy 😍🐶) who very kindly let us use them for the exam. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Well done Brooke!

Po! A lovely boy who has always reminded me of one of Jim Henson’s characters. Maybe others don’t see what I see 🤔😂 but believe me this boy has a nature and presence that matches the Mystics character perfectly!! Calm, obliging and eyes that seem all knowing 😌😍.

Lush Puppies has recently relocated to a much bigger space, and also now have a full team on board ready to make your pup look gorgeous!!
Our wait time has been up to 8 - 10 weeks long for quite some time….. but now we are ’all systems go!!!!’ and ready to open our books to new clients.

Customer Notice:

New legislation has recently passed and we regret to let our customers know that we will no longer be plucking hair from dogs ears.
The legislation states that this from now on be a vet procedure only.
So, please check and keep an eye on your pups ears - and we will be sure to let you know after their groom if they look like they need some attention from your vet ☺️.

Our staff at Lush Puppies are all members of the National Dog Grooming Association of NZ. That means we attend yearly workshops and seminars. Two of us are one exam away from being qualified Master Groomers.
A big congratulations to our groomer Dan Corum who puts in the extra effort to participate in grooming competitions as well. Check out this 1st place ribbon which he won 2 weeks ago. Way to go Dan!

We have some BEAUTIFUL new shampoo/conditioners as well, including FUREX, FUR LOVE and WOOF AND MEOW - no matter what skin or coat condition your dog is, we got you covered (in fur 🤣).

Since re-opening after the covid19 lockdown we have had the busiest 2 months with the hairiest dogs ever.
We’d like to thank all our loyal customers for your support throughout this time and your patience while we were getting through the massive backlog.
With just 3 of us at the salon doing the work of 4 - It has been a struggle but i’m very stoked with my team Dan Corum and Letizia Trinco (and Aimee who escaped the madness being on maternity leave 😂😂😂 but came in to help anyway).
Enjoy the happy snaps of a small handful of lovelies that we’ve had in over the last few months xx

Covid 19 Update!
Grooming Salons are now able to open - however no customers are allowed on the shop premises.
I have decided to reopen on May 12th (Tuesday).
I hope it will be Level 2 at that stage so we can achieve a safe drop off/pick up instore, this is my preference as it is safest for the dogs..... if not we will put our plan in place for contactless drop off.
I have rebooked all our appointments (with some tweaking still required) so please keep an eye on phones over the next week as I will be getting in touch with everyone soon with their new appointments and other information for contactless drop off if required.
We will be seeing everyone very soon.
