Luna and Bella are still looking for their forever homes...
Their fosters write:
Luna (photo 1) is a sweet and affectionate, 10 week old, female, Rottweiler X Huntaway X Heading Dog.
Good with dogs: YES.
Good with cats: YES.
Good with stock: UNKNOWN.
Good with children: YES.
Luna knows how to relax. She will nuzzle into your lap for cuddles and naps. She loves soft beds, blankets and stuffed toys. She also enjoys playing with toys and playfights with her sister. She can be a little bit timid with young children and rough plays, but she seems to have her way with anyone and any animal willing to cuddle, and she can certainly hold her ground and puppy wrestle her heart out.
She is happy to chill in her crate or playpen, and is a good sleeper. She is doing well with toilet training and let us know when she needs to be let out of crate to go toilet.
Ideal home: Active household with cozy nooks

Good with stock: YES.
Good with children: YES.
Bella’s foster writes:
Personality: Bella has an inquisitive, playful soul. She loves to eat and play.
Enjoyed activities: Bella enjoys large spaces to roam and play about. She enjoys playing with stuffed toys, ropes and shoes. Bella loves to play and play fight with her sister and other dogs. She isn’t a big fan of car rides unless she can see you.
Sociability: Bella has experience around small and large dogs. She is great around children but sometimes tries to rough play with them. Bella has experience around toddlers and primary school children. Initially, Bella is a little timid around new places, dogs and people, but warms up very quickly.
Training: Bella is great at following/walking right by your side. She is great at taking herself to her bed or crate to sleep. Bella is doing well with toilet training at night, letting us know when she needs to be let out of her crate to go toilet. During the day, she needs regular
support to go toilet outside. Bella can sit on command and responds well to “good girl”.
Energy: Bella needs opportunities throughout the day to use up her energy, after that, she will cuddle up and sleep.
Ideal home: A loving whanau/family, active household with space and nooks to play in.
