🔉 Calling all Dog Owners/ Enthusiasts/ Those working in the Animal Care Industry 🐕

An opportunity to improve your Dogs health, add to your scope of practice or even start something new! 

I am a qualified Veterinary Acupuncturist and I am pleased to offer Canine Acupressure-based massage (Tui Na) training. This training is suitable for dog owners, enthusiasts, and those working in the animal care industry. While the techniques can be applied to other animals, dogs are generally the easiest to work with.

For those unfamiliar with Tui Na, it is a branch of Chinese Medicine. This holistic system treats the whole animal with a unique massage treatment tailored to their individual health needs. It's a beautiful and rewarding way to interact therapeutically with animals.

Next month, we will commence our live online classroom for those seeking certification to incorporate Tui Na into their animal-based work. I also offer 1-on-1 sessions and will be hosting workshops for dog owners later in the year.

I'm looking at offering training for Dog owners/ enthusiasts/ people in animal care industry in Canine Acupressure based massage (Tui Na for those familiar), it is transferable to other animals but Dogs are generally the easiest to work on. Putting feelers out to see if this is something people would be interested in learning. There is a Japanese legend that talks about a method to find cats that have left the house and never come back.
The technique is to talk to the street cats in the neighborhood as if you would talk to anyone and ask them about your cat, describe it and it's hair tone, even tell them what it's name, and, ask them to help you find him or her. Tell them how much you love them and how much you want them to come home.
They will communicate with each other to help your cat return home ❤

Yesterday we lost one of the integral family members of 4 Paws, our boy Zig dramatically passed away of heart failure 💔 All animals are special but some hold something exceptional in their personalities and Zig was one of those- we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful natured companion. I pray in time more understanding, testing and treatment becomes available for Hypertrophic Cardio Myopathy in Cats, hopefully avoiding such early deaths 🤍🌈 Anyone who has been blessed to have a close relationship with an animal can appreciate the deep sense of loss with their passing, an obvious void. We Love you always Zig and will miss you immensely, I'm sorry there wasn't more i could have done for you ❤️
