Eliminate one protein at a time to see if that helps.
Chicken can be a major contributor to allergies - it's a 'hot' food that creates heat - an allergy dog already has the heat so often eliminating chicken and chicken based treats can be a simple solution.
Beef can also be a trigger as cow meat has higher histamines naturally.
Eliminate one or both proteins, reintroduce one at a time - if the itching starts again you've found what could be causing the itch!
