Reminder to our lovely clients

As per the government announcement, tomorrow Friday 3rd December we move into the COVID ORANGE protection framework.

For our team and wonderful clients this does mean a few changes:

· It will be a requirement for entry into our clinic that you are vaccinated for COVID 19 and can provide a “my vaccine pass” for our nurses to sight. This will happen each time you enter the clinic.

· Facemasks remain mandatory. If you have an exception card please alert one of our nurses to sight before entry into the clinic. If we are unable to social distance in our consult rooms we will ask you to wait in your car while we have a consult with your pet. We are more than happy to talk you through this process

· We continue to ask that only one healthy adult attend your pet’s appointment. This is so we can maintain social distancing guidelines within the clinic

· We respect everyone’s right to make their own personal decision regarding their vaccinations and will continue to provide veterinary treatment for your pet if you are unvaccinated. This will need to be done in a contactless manner much like level 4 and without entry into the clinic

· Finally a reminder to be kind as we all navigate what our new normal looks like.

We would like to thank all our lovely and generous clients for bringing in newspaper for the cattery🐈 and hospital patients, we are now up to capacity with our newspaper for the time being and would like to encourage those who would like to donate newspaper to donate to charities and organizations in the area.

Congratulations to Tussock, a Mosgiel heading dog , for being the ONE MILLIONth pet registered on the New Zealand Companion Animal Register! Tussock is a great name! It made us wonder about the most popular names in the NZCAR....
