Getting to Know West Melton
Three years ago an idea formed, to create a central gathering place around the local Anglican Church. A little country market began. It has certainly had its up and downs, its hard and its good times. Locals love the venue and want something in this special spot. It does not need to be big, nor grand, just something that represents the values of a community. Our hope, with the local support is that we can run the odd event, have a few stalls and provide a people to come together, whether it be sports groups, the old, the young, the long term local, someone that moved last week, or someone thinking about making West Melton home. Drop in, have a coffee, say hi, share an idea, and keep something nice and simple in the centre of our wee community. Whakawhetai kow, and see you soon.
