We escaped to hide away from the wind and rain this morning 🌬️ 🌧️. Even though it’s been a chilly one, apparently it was still good enough for a dip in the lake before heading home 🙈🐾

Mr Toa had a great time on his mini pack escape this afternoon 🌟🥰. The beach can be a very exciting place for the doggos and Toa has been doing wicked to calm his mindset around other doggos 🐶🙌🏻😌

Adventuring through the trees, we seen a few hares 🐰 that everyone did great to call away from 🌟 and finished off with a trek around the lake! Great spot when the weather is unable to decide if it wants to rain or have sunshine! ☀️🌧️

Why you shouldn’t let your dog interact with unknown dogs. The unknown is unpredictable 🐕

Relationships over the unknown ✨

While it’s tempting to let your dog socialise freely with other dogs, there are important considerations to keep in mind.

Not all dogs are friendly well socialised or have correct social manners. Negative encounters could lead to fear, aggression, reactivity or anxiety in your dog.

Regular interactions with familiar dogs will promote positive social behaviours and reduce the likelihood of conflicts or unknown behaviour arising.

Prioritising interactions with dogs you know or expect to see again, will better your dog’s socialisation experience while minimising potential risks and ensuring enjoyable, positive social interactions.

Letting your dog build relationships with repeat encounters will help with trust and comfort, creating a safer environment for all dogs involved.

One of the best parts about my ‘job’ is watching the doggos that I’m lucky enough to meet, grow. Growing within themselves and also growing from puppies to an adult doggo 🐕🥰. I adore every single one of my wolves 🐺
