Petey had a blast smelling lots on his walk, this afternoon.
We encountered a scary tiger 🐅 (wooden cut out) and with some positive reinforcement, he passed by like a champ. Such a brave boy 🤭. Later on in the walk he walked right past it without any hesitation 🙌🏻

Today marks our third birthday of “The Wolf Gang” 🎉🐺
Bear and I, have met many doggos over the last couple years, here in Whanganui 🤩🐶!
A huuuuuuge THANK YOU, to all the pawrents, past and present, who have trusted me with their fur babies 🐾.

Sorry if I haven’t included your dog in the pics but was definitely hard to choose from the many, many photos I have of all the doggos 🤭.

I agree dog bites never happen “out of nowhere”. Subtle cues are always missed from a lack of knowledge about body language. If subtle cues are constantly ignored or unnoticed, the level will rise. 🐕

Dog bites do not happen out of the blue!

Dogs give many subtle signs before they escalate to defensive behavior.

Recognizing early cues like yawning, lip licking, and turning away can prevent stress and conflict.

Understanding dog body language can help you avoid your dog experiencing unnecessary stress - keep them (and everyone else safe)

Bonding walk with Scout 🥰
Enjoyed getting to know Scouts personality and current skill level, this afternoon. She has a great stay command and was a star while dog and people watching and also us getting quite close towards the end 👀🌟. Keeping our first walk light and fun for her, while she builds some trust with me, aswell as lots of recall work 🐕. Such a cutie 🐶
