Rainy day activities. Rugging, grooming, and tacking up. Postit notes to name parts of the saddle, bridle and the horse. Bons and Cobie did great Wizz not sure about postit notes blowing off in the wind Cadet thought they may be a good snack.

The storm clouds didn't spoil our fun this afternoon. These six girls Tulsi, Bella, Mabel, Evie, Rosa and Nina took on the challenge of show cross, banks, ditches and fast canters having great fun all with fantastic views. Well done girls 😀

Easter holidays day to remember! Rosa and Evie playing Easter bunny🐰 for the egg hunt. Millie, Hayley and Aurelia ba****ck riding, grooming, decorating and collecting eggs. Some great riding too with improved steering and rising trot 😀

Aimee has done so well this year. Showing she has developed balance in the saddle at trot and confident to ride over poles in the paddock. Proving you don't need access to an arena to improve your riding 😊.

Riding on the beach is fun for horse and rider and we are so lucky to have access to some spectacular coastal riding. Splashing through the sea is really good excercise for your horse and the salt water great for cleaning and promoting the healing of minor cuts, bruising and hoof problems. Many horses are initially shy of the waves and will run away as they break. They may also become disoriented by the movement of the water beneath their feet. I have found that keeping the horse moving side on to the wave initially helps them build confidence. When waves aren't too big trot through the shallows keeping outside leg and rein firm to prevent your horse running away sideways. Confidence will improve the more you do it. 🌊🐎😊. Have fun.
