Clipping season is fast approaching!!! 🦄🐴

Now is the time to start thinking about getting your horse clipped and ready for some Autumn riding 🐎.

I will be taking bookings now but am fully booked till April. 😁

I have been clipping for 3 seasons now , have my own cordless, quite battery powered clippers, I try to give the horse and pony’s the best experience I can I can supply treats and distractions for nerveous/ anxious horses. How ever if you know your horse does need sedation no matter what I can definitely work in with you and getting the horse sedated before I start clipping. I travel to you but may require a small travel fee , would perfer to try get a team of 2-3 horses per facility to make my day worthwhile and less travel fee for me to charge customers, however still happy to do the odd 1 here and there if need 🦄

Lessons, schooling, catch rides and show day prep availability❗️❗️❗️

🦄I’m offering out some opportunities to those that are interested in any of the above services, flick me a message to discuss further details 😁.

🐴lessons : i can come to you and can travel as far south as rurakaka and as far north to kerikeri with a travel fee and depending on number of riders i have interest in getting lessons the less the travel fee will be.
Prices:
group $30 (excluding travel fee)
Private $50 (excluding travel fee)

🦄schooling: I am more then happy to give your horse/ pony some extra bit of training, fitness riding or some exposure to farm hacking, I have worked with freshly broken in horses and have produced many ottb and my current showjumping horse. I do have limited space to take horses for schooling at once but best to flick me a message to see when I can book your horse in as soon as I get a spot available.

🦄catch rides and show prep: if you are wanting help warming up for your classes at a show I am more then happy to come along and give you pointers and tips before going into the ring at a show, if your needing a rider for a horse I can offer to ride in the classes you enter the horse In.

🐴A bit about me and my background:
I am a 27 year old and I mainly specialise myself in showjumping and Showhunter, I have been doing a lot of Showhunter since I was on ponies at a young age till now, I have competed at Horse of the year on a pony and a hack where I came 5th in the junior Showhunter of the year and other wins and placings throughout the show.
I am mainly showjumping my 9year old war paint mare that I produced as a 4 year old from never being sat on to now out on our second season jumping Amateur showjumping at 1.10-1.20 height.
I have also put my showing attire on with couple of horses and coming home with wins and placing at a few of the shows we compete at. 😊

Piper showing off at Whangarei A&P show a few weekends ago in the show hack ring, this horse continues to always impress us at every show we enter her in, at whangarei show this was he 1 year anniversary being last year at whangarei was her first ever A&P show- however this year was her 4th show showing in the show hack classes and her first time competing just in the open hack classes, and she still continued to amaze me by coming home with reserve open show hack and placing 4th in the NZ Racing throughbred class against some tough competition.
Piper is now enjoying a small break over Xmas and new year and I am looking forward to getting back on her in the new year 💖

Meet Bosco 🧡🦁
I have had the privilege to take bosco on to be a part of my small team for a little while to give him some ridden experiences on learning how to be a big kid, so far our journey together has been enjoyable and I am learning lots and remembering what I went through with Foxy has made me realise how much I love watching the young’s grow and develop there skills while working alongside them-
“sometimes you get the hard days but there are always easy days Along the way” 💖
And I must also mention his cheeky personality to be around in the stables always making me laugh 🤭

Today I took the baby of the team out to a new arena for him(first time), and he handled it like a pro- im so proud of how far he has come with being with me with not a lot of work being done with him under saddle but I can already tell how quick of a learner this dude is - we have got the trot button and a couple of gears sorted, just need to drill in some canter buttons then we will be away in the new year 🥰

Piper showing some potential in the Showhunter ring on the weekend, really proud of this mare and how good she is to do everything with at home and at competitions. She is for sale and will make someone a perfect best friend & teammate in the hunters, jumpers and even the show ring she has such a good brain that is so willing to work and try hard every time. The show season is approaching us!!!
If you are wanting some tips to help you and your horse achieve your goals this season, I am offering out private or group lessons either jumping or dressage ( your pick ).
Or if you don’t have a rider for your horse I am most happy to ride out at competitions or come do some schooling at home (can travel).

Some background information about me…
I have experience with different type of horses young and older types, some with a bit of spice and some on the lazy side, I have brought on a couple of my own horses and currently jumping 1.10-15m on my own produced horse. I have show hunters for a good 8 plus years and have now step up the heights in the showjumping ring.

A busy few weekends with Foxy and I competing down at woodhill at our 3rd show for the season which we seem to get a few things together - Foxy jumping super in her 1.10-.1.15 class for going clear to come 11th and the next day we did our Amateur class with going through to the jump off where we just had one silly rider rail coming 7th in the class.
The next weekend we stayed local and supported our own Northland Mini circuit showjumping series where Fox got to jump on grass and going clear in her 1.15 class for a 3rd and then we doing our first full 1.20 class with also having a silly rider rail still coming 3rd in the class.
Next up we have a rest weekend before we prepare for next weekend doing some showjump training.🐎

Fox is Fuelled with Dynavyte NZ which is helping her feel amazing inside and out with there products she gets at home and out at competition. 🩵

Also thanks to everyone behind the scenes to help me get me and Foxy to these competitions and helping me on the day ☺️

First show of the season at woodhill sands showjumping a couple of weekends ago done ✔️

Both Molly and Foxy jumped super and was more than excited to be back out in the sj ring. 😁

Saturday
🌼Foxy starting with a 1.10 feeling super just having one rail in the second phase of the course.
🌸Molly feeling super in both her rounds just having a couple of faults but other then that was good to get her back out in the ring.

Sunday
I only started Fox in our first amateur for the season where she jumped absolutely amazing and really looking after me, as I did a bit of an injury on Saturday causing me to not put weight on my foot 🥹 but was determined to still ride in my amateur class just having 1 rail and a navigating error. 😊🫶🏼

Wishing my small team, my best team mates a happy birthday 🥳

I am looking forward to competing Fox and Molly this coming season in the showjumping ring and achieve some new goals with them 🥰.

I have made the decision to “semi” retire my best mate Tele from the ring but he is still enjoying life getting treats and teaching others little riders the ropes on horse riding🦄

So greatful for these deep swimming holes on our back door on hot days like today- Foxy enjoying a cool off after her very hot jump school this evening, she most definitely loved her dip in the water 💦 ☀️
