Fireworks go on sale in NZ tomorrow (Saturday 2nd November) and so we need to be prepared.

When it comes to keeping pets safe during Guy Fawkes and fireworks, here are some pet safe tips:

1. Stay Indoors: Keep your pets indoors during fireworks to avoid startling them. Create a safe space where they feel secure.

2. Comfort Items: Provide blankets, toys, or even an item of your clothing to help soothe them.

3. Calm Environment: Play soothing music or turn on the TV to drown out the noise of the fireworks.

4. Identification: Ensure your pets have proper identification in case they do get scared and run away.

5. Stay with Them: If possible, stay home with your pets to comfort them during the fireworks.
