Breeders of Charolais Cattle

Today we went and supported the local group day for calf club. Awesome to see our new sponsored sign out on display. The charolais are definitely increasing in popularity. Awesome to see them out and about at these shows. Overall beef type calf was taken out by a friesian x charolais calf out of a ring of at least 15 and different breeds including Speckle Park, Red Devon, Hereford and Angus.

Phoenix Valley Unstoppable deserves his own post. Everyday he just looks more outstanding! 🤩🤩 His half brother (Same dam) is currently doing 1.2kg/day at 22 days old and will be close to doubling his birth weight by 1 month old.

Pretty exciting putting out our homebred bull 2nd generation of our stud breeding so progeny will be 3rd generation. This is the bull calf we showed last year and he’s growing into quite a nice bull.

Stunner early morning to get the boys in for blood test and bvd jabs. Nice to see the grass come away definitely feels like autumn lately.

Calves are growing well! Excited to see them develop over the next year. If you’re in the market next spring for bulls we will have 7 purebreds available. All easy calve lines, horned and polled and good quiet natures.

These are some of the charolais x friesian steers I reared last year in spring so only yearlings. We weighed them this week and already 350-400kg the owner was pretty happy with that!

The boys are both very curious! Really need some ☀️ to dry out the paddocks.

Moving the girls into a new paddock yesterday. With the drop in temperature and been so wet the grass is really struggling to grow now.
