Pre-Christmas School Holiday Clinic (SHC)
Monday 19th - Friday 23rd December. 9am-1pm

Our clinics run for 5 consecutive days Monday to Friday during the school holidays. We prefer everyone to do all 5 days as you get so much more out of it but, if that is not possible, a minimum of 3 consecutive days attendance is required please.

We cater for all levels of riding and are divided into beginners and intermediate groups. The cost for the weeks daily clinic is $550 (inc GST).

Lessons for novice riders cover:
• horsemanship; catching your pony, grooming and tacking up
• leading your pony correctly
• mounting and dismounting
• learning all the paces; walking, trotting (sitting and rising) and cantering
• controlling your pony in an arena with other ponies and riders

Lessons for intermediate riders cover:
• dressage
• jumping

Davis Stables is holding Junior Riding Club Term 3 (JRC3) as a beach & trail ride from 191 Clifton Road, Whitford.

Please note there is no Sunday class, only Saturdays from 9-12.

July School Holiday Clinic

Dates: Monday 12th to Friday 16th July

An intensive 5 day clinic divided into two levels:
• Novice 9:00-1:00 Cost $400
• Int/Advanced 2:00-4:00, [dressage and jumping] $400

Lessons for novice riders cover:
• horsemanship; catching your pony, grooming and tacking up
• leading your pony correctly
• mounting and dismounting
• learning all the paces; walk, trot (sitting & rising) and canter
• controlling your pony in an arena with other ponies and riders

Riders are advised to wear jodhpurs or comfortable fitted leggings not jeans, which can chafe. Boots with a smooth sole and slight heel are advisable, preferably not gumboots. We provide helmets. Back protectors are required only for cross country jumping.

Junior Riding Club Term 3

Junior Riding Club (JRC) is a ten week programme, which operates during the four school terms on Saturdays or Sundays. Lessons run from 9:00 to 12:00 and cost $690 (inc GST).

Dates for 2021:

Term 3: JRC 3 31st July & 1st August – 2nd & 3rd October

Term 4: JRC 4 23rd & 24th October – 18th & 19th December

If you would like to enrol in the School Holiday Programme or JRC3, please email us to register and advise your preferred day for JRC. Your place will be confirmed upon receipt of fees, payable to:
