Barley grass seeds - It's that time of year again where we are starting to see a rise in cases of pets with Barley grasses stuck in paws (most often dogs) . The shape of these seeds makes them burrow into fur and skin, where they can get lodged. As the animal moves it cause the seeds to burrow deeper traveling through the body sometimes reaching their internal organs. These seeds can enter the animals' ears, nose, paws and get between their eye and eyelid.

To help prevent you pet needing a procedure to have them removed. We recommend checking you pets paws after a walk in long grass, and having their paws poodle clipped if they are especially fluffy.

Female, approximately 1-2years old, suspect speyed, not microhipped.
Has been hanging around Hahei for a couple of weeks. Friendly and very chatty!
