Hi guys just a wee update on fordes! We are still
Working with the insurance company to get a resolve. We are taking cows for collection, we are able to travel to you to do large quantities of mutton dog Tucker however this will not be free flow frozen currently (we need some gear and freezers with rails at the factory..) the shop is open but we don’t have a mincer so limited stock. Hopefully we will be in a better position in a week or two!

Fordes was black but now it’s back!

Yes you read that right, after the fordes team and key contractors pitching in we have a form
Of operation again! We are able to pick cows up as per normal, we have some product we can sell at the site but cash only please as the eftpos machine was toasted… we would like to give a special thanks too…

Well today was a dark day for fordes Petfood. Unfortunately a fire broke out overnight last night and this resulted in the factory being wiped out. We do have a contingency plan forming to make sure we service the Southland and Otago regions very soon! Our trucks weren’t harmed and we do still have some freezers and key components so I aim to have us back in business very soon ( hopefully 2 weeks!)

UPDATE: We have a new recipe on the menu for your best mate! we have produced a mince made from a blend of mutton and beef for those dogs that need more energy in their diet, this is available in 20 kg at Fordes Petfood for $75 in blocks of mince. drop in and see the team to try them!
