We're thrilled to announce our spay-neuter event in Barangay Ayala Alabang was a resounding triumph, with a total of 170 cats and dogs receiving essential veterinary care!

A massive thank you to Barangay Ayala Alabang for graciously hosting us, and to our incredible partner-advocate, Biyaya Animal Care, for their tireless dedication.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came out, availed of our services, and joined us in promoting responsible pet ownership and animal health!

It's disheartening to witness such blatant disregard for animal welfare. Animal abandonment is a crime.

Last Wednesday, cats were callously dumped in our community, and security personnel failed to follow proper protocols.

This is unacceptable.

The person who abandoned these cats should have taken responsibility and had them neutered, regardless of their intentions. By dumping them, they've shifted the burden and expense onto our community.

We need your help. Please consider fostering, adopting, or donating to help us care for these innocent animals. Your contributions will go towards food, litter, neutering, and vaccinations.

Let's work together to stop animal cruelty and create a more compassionate community.

CARA Welfare Phils., through its President Nancy Cu-Unjieng, joined other animal welfare groups in a dialogue with Manila Memorial Park representatives. Instead of impounding cats and dogs in the park, humane and effective solutions like CNVR (Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) and adoptions were put on the table. Likeminded orgs Pawssion, Mama's Cradle, Kahu House, BF Homes Animal Welfare Advocates (BF AWA), Cats of Heritage Park, Strays of SGPV and more from Southgreen Park Vill in Merville were among those who participated in the discussion.
