Gipahugtan ug gipalapdan pa sa Rural Health Unit sa New Corella Davao del Norte ang gihimong contact tracing sa mga tawo nga posibleng natakbuyan sa rabies.

Nunot kini sa pagkamatay sa 15-anyos nga ulitawo human gikonsumo ang karneng iro nga nagdala sa rabies kung asa nasuta nga duna pay kaubanan ang pasyente nga dungan nikaon niini. Ang biktima gidala sa Davao Regional Medical Center niadtong Oktubre 24 apan nakabsan petsa 25 diin sa unang finding sa doktor impeksyon sa kidney base sa pagsaysay sa mga ginikanan. Apan gikumpirma sa RHU-Corella nga rabies ang gikamatayan sa ulitawo.

Gikabalak-an/ sa RHU nga posibleng dunay potensyal nga biktima nga na-infect sa rabies busa hugot karon ang ilang pagpangita sa mga indbidwal. Nanawagan usab ang mga eksperto nga likayan ang pagkonsumo sa mga karneng iro sanglit peligroso kini sa rabies.
