Successful tumor resection in a 4 year old dog.

Pyometra‼️‼️ Izzy, a female intact cat with a clinical sign of lethargy, and a distended abdomen with severe virginal discharges was brought to our clinic for a check-up. A diagnostic test like ultrasonography was performed and it revealed a pyometra case. Pyometra is an infection in the uterus. It is a serious life-threatening condition that must be treated promptly and aggressively. Spaying which is the removal of the ovary and uterus helps to prevent Pyometra and in most cases, is the only procedure to cure pyometra, especially during the advanced stage of the disease. If you noticed any of the signs mentioned to your pets or any unusual behavior that they show, we recommend seeking veterinary assistance to immediately assess the condition of your pets and to give them the necessary medical care that they need. More than the possible disease that they have, it is the lack of time that makes most veterinary diseases severe and life-threatening. Abdominocentesis in 4 month old dog with severe ascites Ascites is accumulation of fluid in the abdominal cavity, it can cause discomfort, pain, and difficulty in breathing, as well as the fluids puts pressure on the organs in the body. For emergency case 📱09171376583

Charlie was brought to the clinic with presenting signs of dysuria (difficulty in urination), reduced appetite with lethargy. Physical examination showed signs of dehydration (pale mucous membrane, prolonged skin turgor, and CRT). Apparent distention of the abdomen is also apparent with signs of bladder distention seen during palpation of the lower abdomen. CBC and X-ray were performed to help aid in the diagnosis. CBC showed severe elevated WBC count. Xray showed no bladder stone. Urinary catheterization was performed to relived the patient from distress caused by a distended bladder. Bloody urine was recovered upon catheterization. With all the patient signalment, laboratory results, and history of the patient combined, a possible feline lower urinary tract disease can be a diagnosis. However, other tests are needed to confirm such diagnosis. Other diseases of the urinary tract could also be included in the differential diagnosis since a limited test was performed. Immediate veterinary care was given to the patient. Three-day post medication, the patient is now back to his normal life and recuperating. With the behavior of our feline friends that are passive and unexpressive, pet owners need to be vigilant with the sudden changes in the behavior of their animals.
