Billyโs parents brought him to the clinic after feeling a sharp foreign body object (FBO) in the patientโs neck region. However, the suspected FBO subsided during the physical examination, and our attending veterinarian asked for an X-ray to confirm the absence of FBO. A needle-like object was visible in the patientโs throat when the X-RAY result was checked. Our team made an improvised endoscope machine to see the patientโs throat well and remove the FBO from within. Fortunately, the process was successful and no longer required surgery. It is common for our furry companions to exhibit consciousness and consume objects or foods that they should not. To avoid this kind of occurrence, let's always keep our surroundings clean.Kudos for Billy's fur parent for bringing the patient to the clinic right away.
