Daphnia and Moina are small crustaceans that are closely related and are often used as live food for fish. They are both known as water fleas because of their size and the way they move in water. Daphnia and Moina, are beneficial for fishing as they serve as a highly nutritious live food source for fish, particularly fry and juvenile fish, due to their high protein content, readily digestible nature, and ability to be easily cultured and enriched with essential nutrients to enhance fish growth and survival rates.
