The PHILIPPINE MONDIO RING ASSOCIATION INC (PMRAI) is the local representative of the GROUPPE DE TRAVAIL INTERNATIONALE DU MONDIO RING (GTIM), which is the FCI - recognized governing body of the Mondioring system based in Belgium. The PMRAI is committed to the propagation of the Mondioring dog sport in the Philippines. Mondioring literally translates to “world ring”. It is a very challenging sport where the dog’s obedience to the handler and its character is tested by using various stresses.

What is Mondioring?

Mondioring is an international protection dog sport that tests the ability of a dog to protect itself and its handler even with extreme distractions. The sport trials are very much similar to the work being performed by police dogs.

For each trial, a participating dog needs to be tested in all three categories: Obedience, Agility, and Protection, respectively.

Who can join?

Anybody and everybody are very much encouraged to join and experience this very exciting dog sport. If you have the knack or simply just enjoy training your dog as a form of bonding, then you are already a good candidate to join.

What dog breed can join?

Any breed of dog can actually join and participate, as long as it can perform all the exercises in each of the three categories (Obedience, Agility, and Protection) the sport has.

Though the recommended breed to train for this dog sport are the herding breeds such as the Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd, and Dutch Shepherd there are also the alternative breeds that have proven their worth in the dog sport such as American Bulldog, Rottweiler, Doberman, and the American Pitbull Terrier.

What do I get from training in Mondioring?

A dog who passes an official Mondioring Trial will be recognized internationally.

A mondioring trained dog can easily be cross-trained to other dog sport disciplines such as Agility, Frisbee, Flyball, Nosework, etc.
A good foundation dog that can also be cross-trained for the more serious k9 works.
Most importantly, you’ll have a highly disciplined dog you can be proud of… your very own livng proof of hardwork and dedication

3. Seek help from people who offers pcci assistance, but be very careful, some are scammers and some will charge you a fortune.

if your dog is pure breed but not registered in pcci, you can secure a certificate under listing program of pcci.
A dog with listing certificate must only be bred to a full pedigreed dog.

Dog appetite and feeding habits:
Regardless how many times you feed your dog in a day, dogs must be hungry (not starving) on the next feeding schedule. When your dog did not eat a meal, that means its either not hungry yet or waiting for something more tasty that you must have gave the other day or regularly feed them like treats or in-between meal foods. Our dogs are smarter than what we think they are, they can actually skip a 2 to 3 day meal (regular dog food) because they are waiting for something better that they like more.
How to correct this and discipline your dog to eat meals on schedule is a little tricky but not hard to do. Once they snob a meal, take them away, serve it again (the same food) after 15 minutes, if they snob it again, make them miss that meal. On the next meal, serve the same food again, and if so that they snob it agaon, you simply take it away and let them miss another meal. They should be fine not eating for 2 to 3 days as long as they are properly hydrated, its just a matter of who will give up first, if your dog gives up, then for sure they will eat your prefered food for them, if you give up first, you need to be ready then to face your headache for having a picky eater dog.

Another reason is maybe your dog isnt hungry yet, simply wait for them to be hungry and they will surely eat. Or maybe you are over feeding them thats why they took a little more time to digest their food and get hungry again.

One more reason is lack of exercise. Always remember that a tired dog is the happiest dog. Feed them 30 minutes after a long walk.
